What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

A fixed blade on the belt for me today as I spent the morning chasing after ghost in the forest. :)

Nice hardware and picture !😍

Beautiful jack Canuck !😍

Both knives are verrrry nice but I am really drawn to that Luzerne Lion Knife my friend .

Harry

Thank you Harry ! I am drawn to it myself.😊

Well done Mr.Primble

Thank you Mr. Rufus.😊

When we forget our cheater glasses, we could whip out the old smsrt fone, take a picture, and then zoom in on it. Old guy trick. 😎
Love all four, but the pruner especially.

Thank you Jeff !😊
The only problem with your solution is that I need my close up glasses to clearly see the pics on my phone.🀣 The zooming in suggestion might work for me though.

You cannot go wrong with either of those three beauties, Jean-Marc. And there’s always tomorrow.

Thanks for sharing your memories.
Barlows are not only for river boys. My Grandpa grew up a coal miner’s son in eastern Tennessee, and I have his Imperial Barlow. And you’re right ~ in spite of the budget shell construction, it has strong springs, and great snap.
You are right, Barlows are not just for the old river rats. I was referring specifically to the Mark Twain model though. Yes, my brothers and I had our share of various cheap Barlows in our hands in our growing up years. You may have done it previously, but I haven't seen your grandad's. Maybe you would be willing to share an image of that sometime.

I think most young men are fascinated with sharks and/or dinosaurs
These two are gonna Mako my day ... I don't have a dinosaur lockback yet
Interesting Facts: A shark will only attack you if you're wet
There are about 10 fatalities a year involving sharks worldwide
Compare that to number of fatalities involving folks taking selfies, which is about 43 per year

πŸ˜₯ so corny😱
Nice knives though

Really took the "wear a mask" thing to heart πŸ˜΅β€πŸ’«

🀣...wait...what😲

Interesting place, Leeds Market is πŸ‘½
LOL! :D It sometimes reminds me of the scenes in Sci Fi movies, where the crew stop off at an intergalactic watering-hole in space, and are surrounded by creatures with two heads, or multiple arms, drinking blue juice out of a plastic tube! You really never know what you are going to come across in Leeds market! 🀣
Bladeforum Irish Jack and Rendezvous build Eureka yesterday and today.

Great-looking pair Paul :)
Thank you Mr. Jack. Normally the local spots in my small town have novelty knives from the 1950's or newer or modern knives. 😊

😲🀣🀣🀣 After seeing your pictures, which are hilarious by the way, you might want to add a few of them Blackjacks to your pockets on next market day ! ;)🀣
Thank you my friend, most definitely! :D
Been a busy, busy day. These were along for the ride.

Stunning pair Gary, I hope you get an easier day today buddy :)
Wow, that is sure a super cool (and pointy) slicer, it's a perfect negotiator when you making a "point" Lol! 😁 πŸ‘πŸ‘
Thanks JJ, Tool Man asked if he might have a look at it, so I put it in my bag ;) :D
I've been toting these two 30's slicers for Thursday. :)
Those two pair together very nicely my friend, both gorgeous  :)

Hope everyone has had a good week :) Big Bagpipe Ebony Lambsfoot, and a #15 Boy's Knife for Old Friends Friday, for me today :)

A couple of my favorites among your knives, Steve. Along with your Camillus Serpentine Trapper Jack…
I zoom in even when wearing my glasses. Not just an "old guy" trick. At least I don't think I have crossed the "old guy" line in the sand.
That is wrong, cute and funny but wrong.
Some fish for dinner tonight. πŸ˜ŽπŸ‘View attachment 2011294
The rewards of the work filleting and freezing. Have you changed gear and starred chasing trout yet?

Yesterday, Primble Primble sneered unbelievingly at my Shamrock...but I'm unabashed, me I'm Fly & I have the Key πŸ˜»πŸ…πŸ€

UmVRBc3.jpg

Unbelievingly ?

Well ,,,,,,,,,,, I love the knife, but, the fly ......................... c'mon man .................... I liked that shriveled up Shamrock better than a dirty old fly ! 😲 🀣🀣

You need a new bunny knife or something ...................... a mercury dime, a buffalo nickel, or a penny ! ;)🀣

By the way ..... Your knife probably needs disinfectant ! 🀣

Nice setup for today Jack. πŸ˜ŽπŸ‘

I can’t take credit for filleting or even catching this mess. I work with a guy that is a huge crappie fisherman and he keeps me supplied. πŸ˜„
Love fishing for trout with fiberglass fly rods and click and pawl reels. πŸ˜‰πŸ‘
