What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Chilly wet and a little snowy here today and I have this in my pocket today . A 2020 made 74 in Desert Ironwood . One of the 352 made .

I’ve missed this thread for a lot of this year…which was so busy and flew by in the blink of an eye.

In anticipation of the BF22 Bunny Knife, I decided to go all traditional for today’s carry: bone and leather.

I sincerely hope that this year has treated everyone well…

Hey, where you headed Gary? :)
Not quite sure yet, but will include Rome, Florence, and Venice for sure. All cities we want to visit again. My wife has relatives in Rome and Padua that we'd like to see again. I could park myself in Florence for the whole trip and be happy. My favorite by far.
Our last trip there we spent in the hill towns in Tuscany and Umbria.

Must have been a boy scout...always be prepared. Two fine one's you have there.
Thanks Rufus1949 Rufus1949 . It's true, although I quit Scouts in the 6th grade when we moved to the city. I went to a meeting and they were *inside*, gluing glitter on things 😐 Wasn't smart enough to shop around for better troops.
Yep. Holub Industries from Sycamore. Electrical supply, if I’m not mistaken.
Probably made for them, though, similar to how Klein and Son, Chicago, another electrical supply house, had theirs made by the big guys…

That’s what we’re suposed to do for Mom ‘n Dad.
Love that alox color!
Thank you Jeff, I dig those scales too they really class up a Levi's watch pocket. I am no longer ashamed to show the SAK that is with me most days!
Gotta be good to the Rents, you owe em everything no? I lucked out in the parent lottery so I try to be attentive. Actually left my "Ricnor" labeled TL-29 over there last week because Dad has rather suspiciously misplaced the Benchmade I bought him years back. He's getting a slipjoint for Xmas and I'm getting my Electrician's jack back!

Handsome chaps.😉⛄

I agree and thank you for making them for me !  😊

I really like the shields used...they truly compliment the coats.👌

Thank you my friend !😊

Be careful to sort the laundry...Horn would react badly to 40C wash.🤣

Knife is a beauty ! ............ matches the shirt. I like the shirt too !😍

Lookin' good Travis ! ................ another knife matching a shirt ! 😲😍 Now I got to worry about matching my knives to the background !!??🤔🤔🤣

Wow Mr. P! The bone on the jack is just stunning. This shot will work perfectly on page 137 of the coffee table book that is assuredly in your future 😁.

Thank you Jon and I estimate that book to be finished ................................................................................................................................................... in 2044 or later !😲🤣

Thanks Rob, that Pioneer doesn't show well in the picture but the body is a darker gray vs the standard gray on Victorinox's knives. The ALOX are so nice. As always, wonderful knives your totin today:)

Thank you Paul, definitely a looker, that Pioneer ! You guys are making me cold, just thinking about that weather ! 😊

LOL! :D Another couple of stunners Mr P :)

I've been hanging out with the Good, the Bad, and the Ugly at Leeds market, temperatures down in the 20's again 🥶

LOLOLOL ! 🤣🤣🤣 Looks like you guys have a big time with one another !😊

Thanks, buddy! 😉

I had never heard of the term “fettling” until @r8shell and @Jack Black used it here.
The first thing I thought was Be Careful How You Say That. Like the old word “Farding”, which means applying makeup. 🤔

🤣🤣

PAL Jack and a Coast Cutco Stockman and heavy wet snow here as well .

Nice👍👍
The fixed blade a hellize goblin skinner? i am jealous.
Thanks for sharing.

Sweet knife Bart, the slip and bead just completes the package. 😎👍
Thanks, Todd. I agree, JohnDF JohnDF is pretty handy with the leather and generous, too👍
Morning! 47+92 = 139. But there will be no 139’s or 39’s in my foreseeable future. I like my elderberry with a bit of jigging to break up the deep pink 😎.

Have a great Thursday!

The market pictures never disappoint, nor does your hartshead, Jack 👍
Yesterday and today. Hadn’t carried this one in a bit and thought I’d change that.

Very nice, Jim. That bone looks great.
A couple of good ones, Todd. Work involves watching TV? How do I sign up?😁
