What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Nice. I had to look LTWK up and peruse.

Thanks, buddy! 😉

I had never heard of the term “fettling” until @r8shell and Jack Black Jack Black used it here.
The first thing I thought was Be Careful How You Say That. Like the old word “Farding”, which means applying makeup. 🤔

Sure is pretty, but I can feel your pain. I don’t have to warn you about that “heart attack snow” bit. Glad you pace yourself!
I’m with your wife ~ I enjoy relocating and rearranging snow. I even have a favorite shovel, but I prefer the long handled plow type. None of that back wrenching you get with a short handled one.
My shovel has been rebuilt many times. The blade fatigued and broke off from the rivets. I attached a flat bar of steel behind it, and bolted it together with brass machine screws.
I like those boots! 👍🏻

Love your hat. 🤙

Just put the TL-29 in your pocket and call it good. Maybe stick that fixed blade with the striped handle on your belt.
I dare ya to carry the short sword into the bank.

Dogs face says “ quit messing with the focus, and gimme my apple”.

When I go to Mom’s house, I always bring a few sharpening tools. She puts all of her kitchen knives in the dishwasher, banging the edges against the other silverware.
Hard to tell an 85 year old woman what to do in her own kitchen. 🫣

Thank you.

Reminds me of one of my favourite Woody Guthrie songs Mr P!.😁 Thank you my friend, I'll be calming him down if he starts again when I see Tool Man today! 🙄🤣👍

Many thanks kind sir 🙂👍

Blimey Paul, that's WEATHER buddy!! 😱 Love Nanc's favourite shovel! 🤣👍

Many thanks my friend, I can smell the aroma of juniper wafting in on the breeze! Wonderful wooden pairing my friend, two very capable cutters 😎👍

My back is hurting just thinking about shovelling snow Paul! 😱☹️ Hope you get some relief soon pal 👍👍

I got my bike Bike back today, at minus 7 Centigrade perfect weather for a cycle (only way I could get back was collect from the store and ride it home) 😆

It was icy, slippy, cold and hard work as the battery ran out (they forgot to charge it).

Strangely, though I fell over, was exhausted and thought I was going to have a heart attack I enjoyed it.

The canal/river was frozen in places, unusual in England down south.

Yes,yes I know I shouldnt wheel my bike throught the supermarket to get to the Cafe at the back.

But I aint going to have this one nicked.

I had a Sausage bap,a flat white and a tasty Danish (thats a pastry by the way not a chica).😁

Here are a couple more of the greenish knives I'm carrying this week to celebrate the impending arrival of Christmas.
One is a little LF&C penknife whose covers are celluloid (I think) and have a green tint (might the color have been called "waterfall"??):

The other knife is a Rough Ryder canoe with "artisan wood" covers:
