What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

I like the Buck, as well as the reminder of green pastures!
Nature is defiant. The Carnations continue on the Terrace despite it being -12C outside and -6c there. It gives a Christmas look in a way and what better than a Schatt & Morgan Gardener's Knife of the XVI series 2007. Combination of Clip (or Spear) and Sheepfoot needs to be used by knife Co.s more often I feel.

I mostly agree, Will. For example, our 2018 Buck. Very useful. But every time I pick it up and see that empty space, I regret that the Blade Deleters prevailed in the polls.
New York Knife Co. Barlow for this Friday. 😊

Hmmm. Following up Schrade Cut Co with New York Knife Co…

I anticipate seeing how you’ll top those tomorrow! Thanks for giving us a look, my friend.
Yesterday you mentioned the coming cold spell. According to the weather app on my iphone, next week will be cold indeed. The kind of weather that makes the ice on the pond safe enough for ice fishing.

If this was true based on my wife’s sensitivity to chew noises, I might be very malnourished.

That fixed blade has soul and vibe all over it. Such a cool blade 😎.

A guy can always dream 😁. I’ll just continue 😍😍😍 each day and enjoy your wonderful collection!

Thanks Bart! The 47 has definitely been my knife of the year.

That mammoth always makes me oooooooooahhhhhhhhhhh 😃😃😃
Thanks Jon...have a good day.

I just like everything about that pocket friendly knife, from jigging to blade.👍
Thanks, Bob. It’s one of my favorites.
I wish it did Bart, but that’s the remote to my new touch screen display. Not a fan of it yet, I feel like a weatherman when I’m using it! 🤣

Fantastic little blade! 😎👍
Hopefully the information you’re providing is more accurate 😁

This peachseed jigged bone barlow was in the pocket this week.

Well, it is a pocket knife. 😎
And a handsome one it is.

I love the look (and feel) of well worn leather. One of life’s little pleasures.

I wavered over my knives this morning. I was tempted to keep on with the same pair, but just too many old friends and favorites in my cigar boxes…
I often wonder if I’m missing something in not having just one good knife, like Grandpa and his faithful Camillus, or the nurseryman I worked for who carried nothing but his extremely sharpening worn Schrade Stockman. They would shake their heads at us and our many knives.
We are materially blessed.
Same rocks, more snow, and different knives.3B06903B-0D49-4E3C-9A69-3DC8F1409DFD.jpeg23EBEBE9-4A00-4092-8E9F-00C4556F4AB6.jpeg
Have a fine day!

The stag on your white owl is some of the best I’ve seen from that run. 🤤🤤🤤
Thanks Jeremy. Unfortunately, the stag on that knife isn't very well matched. The pile side is more of a buttery cream color with reddish brown as opposed to the slightly grayish tint on the mark side. Both are nice on their own - they just don't match very well. I guess I don't look at both sides at the same time very often anyway - haha.

I agree with your sentiment about carrying just one knife. It does make it interesting as to what knife will be carried on a certain day for our generation Jeff.
Your nice choices seem as though they have many pocket hours to them.
