This week has been a green week for me with regard to knives. But I got up at 4 this morning to an environment that had gone all white; not much green showing unless I shake the snow off the evergreen branches. Probably at least 4 inches on the ground when I went out to shovel at 6am, and at least another 4 inches had fallen by the time I did "second shift shoveling" this afternoon. And the weather advisory doesn't end until 1am I think, so I'll be out early Sunday morning making sure things are cleared off for guests scheduled to arrive sometime Sunday.
Rough Rider Christmas knife that I posted during my red knife week of Christmas prep, and I'm using it again for its green bone this week:

Also have this Kutmaster Girl Scout knife with a nice shade of green:

Sweet pair Bob !

That fabulous lamb and the Buck make a fine pair Mr. Jack !:thumbsup:😍
I have one of those old hand drills, but, they are one thing from the old days that I won't quite say are better than modern. ;)😊
Thank you very much my friend :) I have three, including one that is set up on a stand. I use them just as much as my electric drills, sometimes, for a small job, because it's just quicker, but also where I need to go slowly, with a lot of control. An example is when I want to add a compass or camera mount to the top of a wooden staff, where a hand drill would definitely be my first choice :)
I decided to tote my old Catt Hunters Pride one more day, along with an old Barlow. 😊
The Hunters Pride locks up nice and tight with that liner lock, which was patented in 1906.

Nice pairing Jack !
Thank you Steve :)

Great pics mate.
As I write this 9.15am Sunday. Dec is first month of summer, although it's only supposed to get to 20c with showers, about 68f.😯
I need to go take some knife pics.
I am identifying our season as summer by poring over seed catalogs.
It helps.

A little bit.
2 customs Ray Kirk & Scott Mack, don't know if i need the fixed blade. Have outdoor furniture to put together (lots of cardboard)but had some showers see how it goes this afternoon.

LOL. Yesterday, I finally got around to getting out a tarp and rope, and covering our patio furniture.

Now Mitch, it makes me cringe whenever someone shows a decent knife and mentions cutting cardboard. 🫣

How can you say that? No cord to tangle and the battery never dies. ;)

Exactly!

Gonna do some fettling on this Kutmaster today, hopefully no drilling needed.
