The Bokers are all beautiful! Thanks Bob, and just days before the Steelers ate retiring his number and the NFL is celebrate the Immaculate Reception.
They are fantastic knives and yours is beautiful.![]()
Prestigious pair of knives! The Ka-Bar pen is primo, but that Waynorth Cutlery Lambsfoot steals the spotlight with its phenomenality!!Two-fer Monday carry working around the house.View attachment 2021084
Thank you for the kind comment, sir! We'll see if you get tired on the Christmas lambsfoot show after a week of them!Thank you GT and I am liking your lamb show !![]()
Some people refer to me as an old goat now, so I appreciate your kindness to that wether and his sister, David! He wasn't my goat, but one I took care of for an elderly disabled lady. Unfortunately we had to put him down Saturday ☹ He was 15 years old and arthritis in his knees made it impossible for him to bear his weight anymore. He was a good old goat. Now I worry for his twin, hopefully she won't waste away from missing him. She's already dangerously thin despite my best efforts and arthritic as well. Thank you for asking.
Thanks for the info, Jack. As a kid, I was fascinated by the "ingenuity" of that style drill!Yes! 'Yankees' were made by Stanley on both sides of The Pond. Pretty common here, and I still see them regularly. My mate sold one N.I.B. recentlyI'll get a pic the next time I see one

Really enjoy the photos of your adventures, and your CJ Barlow is super-classy!I went to Newbury and took something old with me.
I saw the biggest gathering of swans ever, thats about half of them in the photo.
The Empire cafe in a squalid part of town made me smile, glory days.
I also picked up all the wreaths and laid them out neatly, just after I took the photo the wind blew them all over the place, RIP lads job done.

I have one of those rams horn Barlows, and the matching canoe, and like them very much; I also have a rams horn pruner, which is a massive piece of cutlery. I also have one of those carbon steel RR canoes that I also enjoy a lot (although a yellow carbon sowbelly stockman is my overall favorite from that series). Congrats on your new arrivals!Got two new in today, Marbles MR365 Barlow, and a Rough Ryder Classic Carbon canoe. The canoe needs a bit of cleaning. Sluggish closing ... fairly difficult to open ... so I'm going to carry the Barlow first.
I paired it with my Marbles MR360 canoe. Both have genuine Rams Horn covers.

... now I "need" the matching large stockman, and maybe the matching (RR) Daddy Barlow ... (both out of production (unless there is a second or greater run) and sold out, of course ...
Hope everyone has an great week.![]()
That yellow oak is no joke! Looks fantastic; congrats!Tuesday carry this beautiful Case mini Copperlock Yellow Curly oak that just arrived.
Perfect in every way !

I usually am so overwhelmed by your 88 that I don't pay as much attention to your other knives as they deserve. Today is the first time I notice that wonderful Wharncliffe secondary blade on your Peanut!!
What a coincidence! I had a breakfast burrito yesterday at the Real Food Cafe (actually I ate half of it and half in my refrigerator). But I didn't have a knife that could compare with that jigged bone WCLF you posted!Breakfast at the new diner in town before work! I don’t know what looks better the sausage burrito or the Charlie lamb!View attachment 2021880
Love that knife, and the small print made me laugh out loud!Fradomi (Moded).

That Cattaraugus Barlow is such an admirable knife; I love the "fine print" cursive script on the bolster! Two Barlow Tuesday for me today. My old Cattaraugus that was rode hard and put up wet ......... and my older New York Knife company two blade that is on the other end of the used spectrum.

What exactly is a "corn exchange"? Do farmers take their corn there and exchange it for cash??

I suppose I shouldn't be surprised to see it, since I have a stag Buck canoe that was produced about that same time.

Thanks, Todd. Those little dark specks in the background are cows. They’re calving right now and when we’ve been chasing them around and catching their calves they’re less apt to hang out for a photo opThe Eureka looks great and I’m guessing when it greens up a bit more we’ll see some cattle in the background.![]()
Is that a smile for getting a new bunny?
The Hiker is always happy. Not a care in the world. Is that a smile for getting a new bunny?

Gary great corraling of some fine Lambs. The horn is my favoriteContinuing with my holiday photos leading up to Christmas.
Here's my rosewood Union Jack with a ceramic tree very similar to several that were posted by Porch denizens last week:

And here are horn, stag, and rosewood lambsfoot knives along with 20 feet from toy lambs wearing jingle bells (almost as if the knives were shepherds watching their flock):
