What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Andi, I always love seeing your Wright Sheepsfoot and your Otter Messer. Fantastic knives my friend

Left this morning for our annual siblings weekend getaway (with my two younger sisters) with these two in my pocket.

I really, really love the keystone shield and the bone on this one. It's called "brown wormgroove," but it is much more complex, containing oranges and yellows. It reminds me of the ACSB that Queen released a few years back. Matches my trusty Mountain Man quite well.

Today was my Case Dr's knife in SparrXX. It seemed appropriate for a visit to the doc. I find the flat dull blade better for sandwich making than anything a Dr. may do. It makes for one heck of a picnic knife. Not only does the tongue depresser make a good spreader the knife is cheap enough you don't mind getting it all gunked up.

I am still carrying the opinel that Sam gave me. I did some carving with it on hardwood and the edge really held up still shaving after. I am truly impressed with this steel. I couldn't believe how sharp I was able to get it, thinking it would not live up to the carbon opinels. I was wrong, very wrong. I guess it doesn't hurt the steel was designed for razors??

No new pics to post.

Thanks to all the Barlow pics lately, I've carried mine the last two days. Snakewood for wooden Wednesday, and the red bone 154CM blade one today:
