I love Schrade made Cradftsman knive, and that looks like a fine example.

Those were the days.

Sorry Jack, my mistake for trying to think and read at 5 am.😏
Hope some relief can be found for your sciatica.
LOL! :D I was squinting at the (old) pic on my phone Bob, trying to remember what the newspaper said! Hence my vague response! :D Not that much older than me in any case ;) Thank you my friend :)
Nice choices Jack, hope your week goes well. 😎👍
Thanks a lot Todd :)
Cool-looking pair Bob, what the story with the South African?
Nice to see your faithful HHB back in your pocket. 🤠
Thanks pal :)
Off the top of my head, I can think if only two knives that were stamped with the year they were made ~ demolition/utility like yours, and SAK Soldiers. Are there any others?
Interesting point Jeff  British Army and Navy (and Belgian Navy and Indian Army) Clasp Knives are usually stamped, GPO (General Post Office) Knives also. I guess commemorative knives, such as Coronation Knives, are generally marked, but not stamped

A very wet start to the week. Looks like the rest of the week will be the same. In the meantime its a big lamb and a nod to metal Monday. 😀

Nice pairing :)
I thought I would put this Dan Graves on my belt for awhile today, before it leaves on the Exchange.

That's a beauty Lee! I'd wear that on the belt of my pyjamas! :D
Special :)
I spent three days looking for my Swedish linesman kit because I wanted to examine my Pukko.
It was in the first place I looked 3 days ago, except for I put it in a bag to keep spiders out and had forgotten that 😅

What I have learned after watching lots of YouTube videos on people in the outdoors is that the real craftsman use things like a Pukko they don’t use massive great big survival knives.
I really like this one it looks like it’s new old stock, it’s very lightweight and the pouch is absolutely perfect.

Very cool :) Just been trying to find a scanned copy of my article on the Brusletto Tollekniv from a 1992 issue of Survival & Outdoor Techniques magazine! :D (Edit - October 1992 - found it!). I gave the knife away in a giveaway here many years ago

Hi Jack,
The South African is part of a collection of hand made knives by Tinus Stone. The maker uses burled maple often and likes to dye it from time to time. His term for the blade is a modified sheepsfoot.View attachment 2040873

Thanks Bob, I've asked you that before haven't I?! 😖 Please forgive my poor memory my friend, cool knife :)

Very cool pocket worn Pioneer, my friend!

Phiilips? What’s the story of that one, Mitch? It looks like a nice custom version of sodbuster…

Boy! You were prepared to do your daily good turn.

Alistar Phillips aussie maker.
You have probably heard of him, he designed the spyderco kapara. Mine is an early 1, micarta & 01. Yep reminds me of a sodbuster too.👍

Really cool pairing Bob, beautiful handle on your Stone. 😎👍
I only have one knife with copper so I have nothing to compare it to, but it seems to developing a good patina. I love this little barlow!

Good start to the week John. 😎👍
These two today align with my work calendar from the weekend that was too good not to share. Here’s to a good week.
