>>-VOOS-> Jack Knife, and Schrade 804 Whittler

And it may seem weird, but I AM weird anyway.
For the last few years, I have tried various ways to label plants in my garden. It’s easy to tell Romaine Lettuce from a leek, but last year, I grew 27 varieties of tomatoes. And this year, I will be trying over a dozen varieties of runner beans. And I need to have some way to tell them apart so I can save the seeds of the varieties we like the most.
The ink on wooden popsickle sticks fades, and they get lost in the mulch. And last year’s method of writing them all down in a notebook got tedious and confusing. So I got the idea of making label tags out of aluminum cans. And I found that the awl on this SAK cut the holes like butter.
So that’s in my left front pocket once again. (I almost always have a SAK no matter what my other knives are, and swap them infrequently).
My jeans are not on, because I have on sweat pants to work out in. Well, I got as far as putting on sweat pants…
