What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

My cardiologist would likely have a heart attack if he knew I was messing around with sharp objects while on the blood thinners he prescribed. While I wait on the next heart procedure, I'll tote around my trusty old Elk Antler Buck 112, and search for some new carving gloves. If anyone has any recommendations, I'm all ears.
I have been on thinners for over 5 years now 🙄. It is a knife forum but I will say it anyway, keep out of the path of the blade no glove works as well as your brain.

This is what I use on my left hand only. Nothing on my right. It has nice grip and work fairly well for slices. Not so much for pokes. If your knife is sharp (duh) and you load it with potential energy and you slip or the wood breaks the glove will lose.

Ps. I never asked my doctor.

Took a 3-1/2 hr stroll through the hardwoods today. My phone app says I did around 2-1/2 miles, up and down some steep ravines. Saw a coyote but not before he saw me and bolted through the woods from a creek bottom. A few squirrels and a red tail hawk were the only other wildlife I saw aside from some woodpeckers and a few robins.
Had my GEC H-10 on the belt, a very light weight knife with great cutting abilities for its size.

Case Knife of the week is a chestnut jigged bone CV Sod Buster Jr (from a BigBiscuit BigBiscuit GAW):

Colonial/Imperial/Schrade Knife this week is a Colonial white bone (seems like bone to me) electrician:

Locking Knife of the Week is a Case pocket worn Harvest Orange Tribal Lock. When I ordered this knife, I didn't like very much about it except its spearpoint blade. I thought it would be too big with only a single blade and a lockback, but "everybody" raved about them. But once I got it, I thought it was one of the best knives I had. The single blade made the knife slim enough that it didn't "carry big" despite the length, and the lock release in the middle of the knife works so much better for me than lock release at back end of knife.
