What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

I’m lichen your photos!
🙄😁

DirtDawg DirtDawg , here’s that cedar cane. It’s hard to photograph ~ either back off for the whole cane, or close up on part of it.

There was a time, 2012 -2013, when I did need a cane. A rare neuro disease left me paralyzed from the neck down. Then I sort of re-lived my younger days ~ started with sitting up, then crawling, and finally walking. During a lot of rehab, I went from wheelchair to walker to cane, to nothing. And now you know why I say Enjoy The Day. Every day is a gift.

Thank you Jeff...what a great walking stick with a positive outlook to boot.

Carrying this ol' KAMP KING by Imperial while Scouting for a Bald Eagle nest I had heard about. I never did find the nest, but the dog and I did enjoy some time on the riverbank in 54°F weather. I spotted about a half dozen eagles too. I left my bird lens at home today, so no up to date eagle shots.

I've been working - off & on - on cleaning this knife up since early July of last year. It walks. It talks. And it cuts. But much like me, it ain't too pretty. I can't say it's a solid knife - it is a shell-handled Imperial after all - but it's a sound and quite serviceable knife. I think I'll keep it in my pocket for a spell.

Some very old wood for your Wednesday. Pre-41 Ulster, Corliss Germany 1900-1910, TENK HWD 1865-1925

I’m guessing that Camillus made that jackknife for Tenk Hardware.

Must say all three are really fine!
Now that's a right handsome walking stick Amir. Sorry to hear you had to endure what you did, but I'd say you have the right attitude about appreciating every day. You are so right about photographing walking sticks/hiking staffs. They are not the easiest to do. You did well in this image though. And yes, I did spot the knife - nice touch.
Thanks, DD 🤗

Two fantastic knives Jon. 😎👍
Great photo of that gorgeous NW Jim. Those things are bear traps aren’t they? 😎👍
60 F yesterday afternoon. Last night we got a couple of inches of snow. Not atypical for Missouri
Back to the 29 today.

Same here Mike with the temps, but that snow is supposed to slip to the south of us. We are getting a shot of colder air but it’s back to the 60s by Monday. Crazy! The red of your 29 looks nice against the snow.
😎👍
