To be quite honest, I actually prefer the darker color. That one looks spectacular!

Today is my wife's birthday. What she asked to do to celebrate was for us to work in the backyard and garden today, so these two knives were the right choice for me. It's been a good day, we got a lot done while having fun. Now off to sit in our library and read to each other and drink some tea.

Thank you Rufus1949 Rufus1949 . The 62 is Birdseye Maple. 61/62 congress are some of my favorite GECs.

John (JK Handmade Knives) makes exceptional knives, this one ziricote wood, was an afterthought, something I ordered on a whim, with a kephart he made. I like it and kind of beat on it for a small fixed blade.

You are good! I’m happy getting the first five on the paper at 100 when I sight in a new scope.
I’m getting wiser in My older, middle aged youth. I put my bore sighter on the gun before I took the old scope off, then it only took 2 shots at 100 with a couple minor adjustments before I fired those two at 200. Back home in time for a nap!!

Nexus-6. Kaufmann must have a good sales person in Seattle. I have two Kaufmann knives, one for " Samson Cordage Works, Bellingham Wash", one for "First Vancouver Net Factory LTD" and a Mercator for "LFS INC Bellingham" (Lummi Fisheries Supplies). All fishing industries supply companies. John
