What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

I’m getting wiser in My older, middle aged youth. I put my bore sighter on the gun before I took the old scope off, then it only took 2 shots at 100 with a couple minor adjustments before I fired those two at 200. Back home in time for a nap!!

Ah…yes my favorite pass time since retiring last year! 😀

Quite the awesome Franco-American cutlery you have to end your week; one definitely can't leave those lovely lambs unattended!:D👍👍

My idea of whittling is making little sticks out of big sticks. Doing so at riverside is about as relaxing as I can think of. It's a bit cold out there for such activity right now, but I can prepare, can't I? I also think these new "Premium Grade Sheepskin" gloves compliment the "Queen Steel #48" quite nicely too. I've had said knife since 1983, when my father-in-law passed. Today is the first time I've pocketed it. I don't believe however, that it will be the last time. Heck, I might even cut some wood with it in the near future. I have no idea when this knife may have been manufactured, but would be interested in input from the crowd.20230117_123732-E-E14-E-B-DDS.jpg

Yes, it’s time to put those gloves to work with that beautiful knife!

Thanks. I have the single blade version also…because we all “need” a single AND double blade version of the same knife. 🤣
Sounds like you’ve got the whole “need” thing figured out. 👍
The crew is looking good Bart. 😎👍
Thanks, Todd!
A few months ago, I sent a box of unrelated stuff to someone, and for a surprise, included a Yellow Delrin CaseJr Sodbuster taped up in bubble wrap. I think it got discarded witj the other packaging. 🤪
Well that’s a bummer!
I've wanted one of these for a while and recently found some from an online dealer going for better prices than you can find them on ebay. Still expensive, but I had a Sebenza collecting dust that I had no interest in carrying anymore - so I sold that to fund this. It showed up today and I have absolutely no regrets about that decision at all. I love this thing.

That looks awesome. I’m trying to resist getting one.

Today is my wife's birthday. What she asked to do to celebrate was for us to work in the backyard and garden today, so these two knives were the right choice for me. It's been a good day, we got a lot done while having fun. Now off to sit in our library and read to each other and drink some tea.

A belated Happy Birthday to your wife Tyson, and I hope that you both enjoyed the rest of the day :) I have a package here for you, but the Royal Mail aren't shipping anything out of the country at the moment, not even letters! 🤨 Just checking, and they've now resumed a "limited" overseas service, so hopefully I can get it off this week

Toting a couple British born essentials today, one for the pocket and the other for the wrist. :)
Nice JJ, congratulations :) That's a great-looking Lambsfoot too  Thank you for the kind words my friend :)

Wishing everyone a great weekend :)

Thanks, Bob!✋

Big, sturdy AND purty. 👌
Can we see the other blades?

You could sell that box of .45/70, and buy three or four more Pony Jacks!

Is it SHARK WEEK already?

Yes indeed. My Yellow Delrin knives don’t dig the negative waves, man.
