Ive been called worseNice mug!
Thank you Gary. I'm always impressed with the level of detail and quality in these old knives. Modern craftsmen( ladies) need to take a refresher course for their builds.Handsome Böker copper-bolster Barlow, Bart!
I'm not used to seeing your cattle grazing on such green and puddly land!
I like eggs, if cooked to my satisfaction, but I don't eat them very often; I should commit to a couple of eggs per week at least.
Great to see luminous Lucy, Jack!
Your lamb is well-fed, Bob (plenty of good grain)!
Since I'm an enthusiastic supporter of sunk joints, I certainly approve of your PocketEze!
Thanks for the Popeye info and photos!
When I was a kid, right after school on local TV we watched a LOT of Popeye cartoons (and 3 Stooges shorts) on a show called The Popeye Theater. Its host was Buck Barry (for a while, the show was called Buckaroo Rodeo, IIRC) and his horse Thunder (although there was another host, Fireman Freddie, at least some of the time). I was always kind of amazed/confused by the differences among the Popeye cartoons shown, because they came from quite a long time span. The bad guy's name changed from Bluto to Brutus among the cartoons, and characters looked different from one day to the next because the cartoons were shown in random order from the 1930s through at least the 1950s.
Probably not such a tough job when you have the right tool like that, Tim!
I'll concur with Jeff, based on the truck drivers being on the right side of the truck (that is the LEFT side) for USA driving regulations.
That's pretty amazing!
(Although I invariably find reflections in my knife photos that I never saw while taking the photos.)
Fortunately, your compensation teaching America's youth goes far beyond the financial component, Todd!
(Can't buy many knives with the non-financial rewards you get, though.)
They say it's the thought that counts, John, but I'm not sure I agree. Whether you carry that knife regularly out of dedication or laziness really doesn't matter: actions speak louder than words. (How do you like my "dueling cliches"?
I enjoyed all these good wood knife pairs displayed on good wood backgrounds for Wooden Wednesday!
JJ, what do you think of that Old Hickory folder?

I was stuck in a warzone in the 70's, and had to live on nothing but eggs and flat bread for a month. I was worse when the eggs ran out, but I still don't enjoy them all these years laterI like eggs, if cooked to my satisfaction, but I don't eat them very often; I should commit to a couple of eggs per week at least.

Classy carry GaryCold and grey again today. We won't see any Rose-breasted Grosbeaks for a few months. They're all enjoying the warm weather in Central and South America. Our winter birds will be happy to eat their share.
Carrying my Boker Gent today. I used it to open the suet.
Have a peaceful Sunday!
