What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Thanks Todd :)
I didn't have to do any plumbing - which is amazing given the December cold snap - or get on the roof for any reason, and nothing broke, caught on fire or exploded.
So yeah...good times 😃👍
🤣🤣🤣
My Tennessee place. Not a current pic ;)

Looks like a nice place to get away. 😎👍
Thanks Todd, you're giving a fine lesson in "class" with that photo. 😎👍
Thanks, hope my principal thinks the same.
😎👍
Snow here too, they closed campus and I bet the boss is not happy but I am!
Case Jr Scout today, talking to our committee chair about the upcoming Klondike Derby 😃

Stag/Horn Knife this week is a Colt muskrat. Wish I'd have bought as many copies of each pattern as I could back when these were available for $20 each.

That linesman's knife is really interesting - maybe it's the angle or sharpening history or just my bad eyes and befuddled brain, but it looks like a much fatter spear than I'm used to seeing on TL-29s. Any chance you could post a few more pics of that? Thanks!

Look pretty good though my friend :)
Well, I think so too - thanks! :)

IMHO as good as anything similar from gec,Its French the scales are wood and the construction is screws (nowadays I prefer pins).

You can adjust the friction on the blade pull.

It is very strong but at the same time very easy to pinch and pull open,it feels safe open even without a lock.

This is the first one I bought I now have 3, mine are all from the original knife maker who I have met (hes retired now and passed on the shop to another enthusiast).

I detoured through France to buy then.

In other news the local supermarket had this bunny duvet set in the sale for £9 so I bought it,not so much for the rabbits (that would be sad or silly 😋) but becasuse it was good quality.

instead of counting sheep I can now count Rabbits till I fall asleep 😁

Nice selections Gary. 😎👍
Thanks, Todd; enjoy your "snow day"! ;)

I happen to have time to kill between a dentist appointment and going to pick up my wife from some kind of sewing class, so I took a couple of photos of electrician knives from Böker USA, Camillus, and Colonial. Here are "far" and "near" shots of the knives in the order mentioned:
boker.camillus.colonial.open.far.jpeg
boker.camillus.colonial.near.jpeg

I think you're right, Tyson; the Böker looks like a more "bulbous" spearpoint.

Thanks for those pics - I've never seen one like that before. Very cool.
