Those old pantographic machines kind of burn it into the blade, so it'll survive Flitz, patina, etc. I know we generally refer to GEC's blade marking as 'etches', but they're just transfers I think. PC?! The last time I was at Wright's their most modern equipment was an electric typewriter from the mid 1980's!I had never seen the electro etching done before. Your first pic left me wondering how they set the lettering. I was pretty certain not with a PC. This picture gives me a much clearer picture of how they do it.![]()
