  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

I had never seen the electro etching done before. Your first pic left me wondering how they set the lettering. I was pretty certain not with a PC. This picture gives me a much clearer picture of how they do it.😍
Those old pantographic machines kind of burn it into the blade, so it'll survive Flitz, patina, etc. I know we generally refer to GEC's blade marking as 'etches', but they're just transfers I think. PC?! The last time I was at Wright's their most modern equipment was an electric typewriter from the mid 1980's! 🤣

Another chilly day here

So many nice, pocketable fixed blades, FC. I love seeing your fixed and folder combos.
Thank you kindly Bart. Good tools make the days more fun. Love seeing that jigged bone on your Case/Bose WT as well, that's enough to keep a guy warm there. And is it me or is that bull looking at your wharnie rather nervously - or is that relief that it isn't a spey blade?

Rufus1949 Rufus1949 How's your new nursing gig going Bob? Your midnight reply dump was hilarious, love it! 😆 You do a lot better job keeping up than me.

Just about the time you've got the hang of it you will ;) It's a damascus blade, my first and last. Love that pattern but as it turns out Damascus is not my cup of tea. Ya' never know till you try with knives - that is why we must buy them all at least once 😅
