Carrying this today, it only arrived last night and a big shout goes out to paulhilborn paulhilborn for very kindly helping me to get hold of it, masterclass  It's exceeded expectations too, the Jigged Micarta is extraordinary and offers comfortable handling and looks, Rat-Tail I can never overlook...and all steel, great pull on this example. Surprised it came in such a massive thick tube is this new for GEC? Must try and find some leather for a lanyard, not easy here.

Very nice Will. It appears very stout for a pruner and you captured it well.

Rufus1949 Rufus1949 Thanks, what's interesting is that most Pruners are thick slabbed, being wood or if you're lucky (as you are) Stag. This enhances grip, but GEC's approach is to use quite thin panel jigged Micarta and the result is very effective, it's oddly tactile stuff and I think will change with time.
