Thank you very much Paul, I'm thrilled by the kind gesture
Oh no, that is not a great start to the day, pre-morning coffee! My morning coffee ritual (so sacred, that I roast my own beans) was interrupted by "Dad, the toilet won't flush". Thus, having to spend the next hour, running a power snake all the way to the septic tank. It turns out that the new fangled "septic safe, but good for the environment" TP, is not exactly septic safe. While I didn't need to carry these, I felt prepared and safe. You just never know what might come out of a drain these days.

That sounds irritating my friend, glad you're on the mendThank you Jack. The thumb only hurt for a short while after it happened but has been an inconvenience for a while.
Thanks Bob, it was a gift from @bigfish64 a while back and I’m delighted to have it.

Thank you very much SteveThanks buddy and congrats on the gift !
Great-looking pair Steve
Thank you again my friendI am happy you like it. That one shows just how slim and trim a two blade can be. I think Winchester put out just as nice a knife as Remington did.
Thank you JJ, the Big 'Un came in handy for cake carving!Thank you very much, Good Sir!!!
It looks like your Big 'Un was perfect for your out and about market travels; a super cool old Winchester to add some frosting to your cake!![]()

I'm just on a double-decker bus going to the Jorvik Viking Festival in York. I'd forgotten the kids were off school this week, so the top deck is full of children and grandparents. The kids are quiet, the grandparents won't shut up!Have to post my carry later

The "jump bike"... how many even remember that scene? Triumph... a whole different feeling. Former rider here - '67 Bonneville. I'll take a corksrew over a Phillips anyday, and I don't even drink wine."Everyday in the week I'm in a different city
If I stay too long people try to pull me down
They talk about me like a dog
Talkin' about the clothes I wear
But they don't realize they're the ones who's square"

Its the same old,same old.
Nice to sit outside with a flat white,a sandwhich and read my motorcycle paper with the sun warming my back.
Todays wild card old Victorinox with after market plus scales with mini driver.
I reckon the basic Spartan is best for EDC (or swap for a Tinker with proper Philips) me Ive grown to appreciate the corkscrew it has lots of uses.
The pen fits perfectly under the corkscrew and is held firm.
You wouldnt want to right War and Peace with it but its ideal for quick notes.
2 blades
awl,
can opener/philips,
bottle opener/flat driver
cork screw etc.
will do most tasks daily.
