What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

I believe I will go back to these Saturday, 02-18.
Not sure why but I kinda miss carrying the Bunny and Case canoe. 🤔

Perhaps I'll challenge myself to carry these for a quarter ... reserving the option to drop something else in my pocket with them ... my 828318 Dixie Stockman, for example ... or swap the Imperial Engineers knife for a circa 1980 Ulster "Official BSA" Scout knife, an days I (air quotes) "think" (air quotes) I will need a punch/awl/reamer.
The Ulster is the only other scout/engineer 4 blade I have that is blessed(?) with 1095 blades.

I don't think carrying these is too ostentatious for something like me ... however, I admit I am probably mistaken on that ...

Today : Stag Northfield #721116 and Micarta Tidoute Cotton Sampler #749123

I remember a guy in infantry basic training setting up the Claymore backwards!
Apparently one of our Paras did that in the Falklands as well,it only works if your position is over run.

As for the left handed recruit who nearly took us all out on the range.

He put the grenade in his left hand and instead of turning around to face the range went to throw it at us instead, panic? you bet we did 🤣 🤣 🤣

Started the day yet again polishing off the Patina to start again,.

I then had a nice strong Chelsea breakfast tea in a fancy cup a perfect pick me up.

Minor other things Snowdrops coming on in my garden,Hooray Henrietas racing on the river near Folly bridge.

Best of all I found out Bobby Dylan is a very good artist I loved some of his stuff in the gallery.

He also welds and makes tables the one they had was only £35,000 I thing and they go up to £100,000 :D

Arrrgh! :D I was once behind a guy who threw a Chinese stick grenade, stupid thing where you put a ring round your pinky before throwing it. It kind of caught on his finger, and just went up in the air a few feet, before landing in front of him! Everybody just dived! :D It wasn't a training exercise either! 🤣 o_O
Looks like a delicious carry Jack :)
Thanks Dave :D

I was going to buy it to take away, and then I said to the guy behind the counter, "Hang on, the last time I bought a doughnut from here, I walked down the road, and I ended up covered in it! No, I think I'll sit in this time!" :D he told me that happens a lot! 🤣
