What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Really enjoying seeing your Grand Daddy Remington the last few days.
Decided to grab these 2 delrin handled Schrades this morning.View attachment 2088408
Fine pair of knives, Dan.

Decided to fancy it up a little for church this morning. A slightly prettier 23 Jack joined by a Case Bose jack. D1DEDAF2-5CA8-453F-BD80-4D64876D5E31.jpegBF164886-3D9F-420F-8F58-5697FBBB52E8.jpeg
Of course, I have my trusty Wenger Canyon in my other pocket in case I need to MacGuyver something.D59107A0-CBD2-4E30-BC7F-7048081BB13A.jpeg
Have a great day, my porch friends!

Thank you! I'm especially fond of the 863 pattern.

Have a blessed Sunday everyone.

Hi Gary,
It has to be the Supremes. Is that light glowing at the end of the tunnel for the end of the school year?
I don't think my eyes are good enough to see any end of school year light yet, Bob. (Final exam April 24, so I should have everything taken care of before May Day.) But spring break starts after class on Friday this week!

The Supremes version, with the "Morse code" guitar, is awfully good! But Vanilla Fudge puts on quite an over-the-top, high energy performance on the Ed Sullivan show:

5K Qs 5K Qs Thanks GT, I think it must be one of the newest Excelsiors as I only got it last week from France (you buy from Switzerland and there's VAT to pay..) Very light, very snappy and well finished, it's my only Red SAK...but now I fancy an Alox one for more weight :D Very tidy knife though, pleased with it.

Thanks, Will
Thanks for the reply, Will. :) My beloved Pocket Pals don't have the key ring, so I suspected yours must be the newer version. I think the Excelsior is available in smooth silver Alox.

That explains it... We've been running in different circles. 🤣
Most math teachers like their circles (and other geometric shapes). 🤓

Great group, GT.
Thanks, Jeremy. :)

Great canoes Gary...but the rough rider is awesome.
Thanks for the kind words as always, Bob. :) I've developed quite an appreciation for a big sheepsfoot blade and a tapered spike for poking stuff, loosening knots, etc.

Than you sir! It's definitely in my top ten.
I can see why! :thumbsup::cool::thumbsup:

Pair of Winchester's. Slipping this old jack in my pocket for a bit.

Nice winchester knife; I wish more knives had covers with checkering like on your gunstock! :cool::cool::thumbsup:

5K Qs 5K Qs gotta love the no frills - no nonsense Scout/Camp knives. 😇👍
Amen to that! :thumbsup::thumbsup::cool:

Three goodies Gary 🙂👍
Thanks for your encouragement, Jack. :)

Gary I'm glad I am not the only one who likes Senators. Nice bark on yours.
Thanks, Bob. :) That happens to be the first knife with lambsfoot blade I ever had, and I didn't care much for the blade after using it a few times. Later, I went back to it, and discovered it's a great blade, but pull cuts are the way to use it, instead of such cuts that I typically use with a spear or clip blade. The bark on the mark side of the knife isn't quite as nice as the pile side I showed:
