What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Switching over to a Buck 055 for a visit to one of my doctors. He's a general practitioner but the visit that counts will be to my ENT Oncologist Wednesday up in Klamath Falls, Oregon for my quarterly check up. It's been three years since I had my jaw replaced - an interesting journey. Anyway, along with the 055 I'll carry the Bunny in my keys pocket. No breakfast. Gotta fast for the Doc. Lunch at the Wagon Wheel after.

Hope your appointments all go well and result in good news.

@Modoc ED Hope you have a positive doctors visit today and wed. I really like the Buck 55, handy and well built. I have decided that knife will be my son's first knife. Its perfect. Enjoy the Wagon Wheel Ed.
When I was a kid, these many decades ago, it was slipjoint for first knife, and lockback came much later. I think the idea was that a kid wouldn't be a good judge of the difference between a lockback and a true fixed blade, and might get themselves in trouble.

That's a real nice picture of you new knife ! 😍
Nice jigged bone on it too.
Thanks! I'm pretty happy with it so far. If I'm reading the stamps correctly, I now have four 2021 Case knives, and quality is pretty dang good on all of them.

I wish I could click the love reaction on that one two or three times. What a stunner!

You make some valid points. His favorite knife is one of my lambsfoot knives and my buck 110. Lambsfoot knives have a much to strong backspring for him. The 55 is such an easy knife for a kid to open and close in my opinion and is like a mini buck 110. Thank you for the food for thought.

This video came up on my feed,I thought of you and the fact my Sudbuster had been there and made a journey from there to England.

The ride at the end in the low sun made me really want to be riding a chopper down the coast road, inspirational.

Thanks for the video John! I’ve ridden down to Lands End many times. But to be honest I could have been half way to Oregon on my Beamer by the time they got that Shovel Head started. More noise than power. Like I always say, if you want to be happy for a day drink, if you want to be happy for a year marry, if you want to be happy for a lifetime…ride a BMW! 😀

Schrade 77OT Muskrat. These can get so sharp. Jack slightly miffed because I won't go down to the riverbank today.
There's a real old bridge footing right below and one on the other side. An old road ran through the Park a couple of centuries ago.
