Switching over to a Buck 055 for a visit to one of my doctors. He's a general practitioner but the visit that counts will be to my ENT Oncologist Wednesday up in Klamath Falls, Oregon for my quarterly check up. It's been three years since I had my jaw replaced - an interesting journey. Anyway, along with the 055 I'll carry the Bunny in my keys pocket. No breakfast. Gotta fast for the Doc. Lunch at the Wagon Wheel after.

What is the brass piece in the slip? The sun is out fellas! 69 degrees and sunny. Daffodils and forsythia are going nuts. The yellow knife was begging to jump in the pocket today. Happy February in the south.

Very nice Blackhawk but for a bear I’m thinking just a bit more oomph.Bunny Knife, meet Bear Gun….Bear Gun, meet Bunny Knife.

Can't beat an old Jack!![]()
Sure enjoying the slow walk through of your collection.
As you know, I have three granddaughters down in NW Georgia, and a couple of times a year I have to pass through Kentucky. Usually timed to their school schedule. One of these trips, maybe we could meet face to face. We met up with Ron @Half/Stop and his wife Pam on one of those trips, and it was worth the short detour.
Pair of Jacks is a hard hand to beat on a Monday morning.![]()

If they are your jacks Mr.P....your aces have to be off the charts.

Ten strops each side, a few drops of oil on the pivot and into the Bunny Slip and pocket it goes. All set for Monday!

Stockman of the Week is a Rough Rider large stockman with cap lifter (thanks, Barrett). Fine stockman, but not in my top ten stockmans.

Even a young jack like the Bunny is hard to beat, but, an old Jack ..... well you know !![]()
Yes, it’s a 44mag and a handful for my old hands. Gave her to my son who loves it. But even he changed the grips to make it a bit more tame.Very nice Redhawk! I can’t read the markings, .44 mag? My Blackhawk is a .45 ACP / .45 LC convertible. For wilderness carry I keep it in the .45 LC configuration with Buffalo Bore +P, which translates to 325 grn @ 1350 fps. That load would blow up a “Cowboy” .45, but not the Ruger! Not a guaranteed bear stopper, but more reliable than the Bunny Knife for such a task.

Thanks, Rob. I'm real fond of that Boker. The Bunny slip is pretty universal for the majority of my edc slip joints. I like the distressed leather too.Nice picture of the Boker Gary ..... it's a classy knife. I have been surprised of just how many of my knives fit in my Bunny slip, identical to yours.![]()

Fantastic threesome with fine character Steve !![]()
Indeed, I remember going down to the SF Gun Exchange which at the time was one of the best shops this side of the Mississippi. It was often patronized by SFPD police officers. When they were filming Dirty Harry movies Mr. Eastwood was known to show up and chat with the folks there. Unfortunately, the draconian gun laws passed by our local government made the exchanges ability to function untenable. Sadly, there are NO gun shops left in the city."Most powerful handgun in the world...."
(Well, at one time it was.)
