Fantasticl totes for Friday Ellis !
You don't see those .32 long S&W's around here much anymore. Better hang on to it. I like the black and cream piano key colored theme.😍
Thank you, sir. This one won't be going anywhere. It is my personal opinion that the J-Frame 32 caliber Smiths are some of the finest small frame revolvers out there. I wish S&W would produce some more revolvers in 327 Fed Mag or 32 H&R.

Well done, Harry👌
Is yours back up? We were watching an old Perry Mason rerun just before 9:00, and I realized the hallway light had come on, and we heard the furnace fire up.
Thank you very much Jeff . Yes , our purchased Electric was back around 3:00 P.M. after being down for about 20 Hours . Our whole house generator operated as it was supposed to , so we had all the conveniences Except for the TV and Internet . Now I am wondering what the cost increase of Natural Gas will be . We have had the system for about 1 & 1/2 years and this was our First Use of it . We have outside outlets that we have told our neighbors to Use if needed . We are very happy that we Bit the Bullet and had the System put in .

Beautiful Stag Mr. Harry ! 😲
I hope the weather gets better for you and Jeff soon. We are back on the cold side of the front this morning ... no ice, fortunately. 😊
Thank you very much Mr. Primble . The weather here this morning right now is Cold and Sunny and not windy . The Wind seemed to have shaken a lot of the Ice off of the trees late yesterday and last night . Keep warm down there in that beautiful Briar Hoppin country . We will be out and about today for the first time in 2 days .

Edited to add Jack Black Jack Black
Thanks Jack , that cane is the Second one that I made , and I had also put Buffalo Nickels on the first one . I still have some of those nickles that I acquired a few years ago that were in a hat band that was in a box of STUFF that I won at an auction for $2 about 5 years ago .

Thanks Jack. Got two good ones today.:D
Thanks buddy :)
The Lamb has the look of being well aged and well loved. Do you know who made it?
Thanks Jeff, I got this one about 8-10 years ago, and it's really been carried a lot :) Some more info about it here and here  I bought it from a UK dealer, and on the order form he asked for any special requests "eg choice of tang stamp", so I requested the firm's own stamp, rather than the generic Sheffield one. When it arrived, I was disappointed to find that it had the stamp I'd asked not to have, so I emailed him. He said he couldn't check the knives, which were supposedly "sealed" at the factory (rubbish!), because if he handled them, they'd rust! 😖 I didn't shop with him again, but in retrospect I'm quite glad I had the anonymous stamp! ;)

Many thanks JJ, hope you're having a good day :)

Any idea how old those are? The Barlow is a beaut.
Thank you. I believe the Barlow is somewhere in the mid 60s. This catalogue (below) is dated 1964 and I've seen a few brochures in the mid 60s that have the same model with the Western stamp on the bolster. I believe the later Barlow's (Western USA models) dropped the stamp on the bolster. The Western nail file (Western Cartridge Company), is probably post WWII and before they rebranded to Winchester Western. I honestly don't know.

Thanks! Another thread I cannot keep up with.
I know, I should say ~ another thread with which I cannot keep up.
I am woefully behind!

Appreciate the details. I like to try and figure out the history of my knives, too🤙

Model 30, right? Lovely, rich blueing, and that stag!
Nice Arno B. as well.
Thank you! The warthog on the Arno really looks great in person. Some very rich cream colors in it.

This one is actually a 31-1. My limited understanding of the 30 and 31 are that the 31 was typically a square butt frame, and the 30 was typically a round butt frame. The ones that I own follow this rule, but from my research there are exceptions.
