What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Brian, I am envious of that combo. If I could go back in time and buy only a few knives at the start of my sharp-thing enthusiasm, I might just go with those two.

Looks really good. I think the stag on that one looks good for Case based on the few I have. I think you will like it.

Well, I need the opinions of the esteemed traditional group. I'd been wanting a sow belly pattern for some time, and figured why not stag and CV? I didn't have the option of handling so I had to order sight unseen. I must say blade grind, centering, walk and talk are all very nice and no fit/finish issues whatsoever. But the stag, the stag just isn't speaking to me. Is it too cold, too gray? Too untoasty, too bland? Talk to me folks and give your honest opinion. Will it develop character over time with use? Did I expect too much?

Driving across the state today to help my son move. I'll have the Vic Climer and the peanut with me for today's tasks.

Thanks Steve. At least the minichamp is still widely available. As for the other one keep lookin, one will pop up eventually. It took a while for me to locate one and wear down the former owner.

Have a Lanny's Clip from Jared Oeser today. A few pics of my 76 Bultaco Alpina 350, it is an older, documented restore. All user, have been riding non stop the last few days.

Man, Kris - that Bultaco is awesome!

Great-looking knife sir :)

Thanks, Jack. It's a really nice overall size @ 6.8", with a 3" blade. And I'm blown away by that piece of bocote. It's nicely offset by red liners, which you can't see in the pic.
