What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

3 knifty knives, Jeff! :thumbsup::thumbsup::cool:
Are you serious about that clock-changing mnemonic, or were you just messing with us to see if anyone would fall for your trap? I know one trusting Kentuckian who enjoys fishing fell for it hook, lines, and sinker. That's why I don't like that particular way of trying to remember which way you SPRING and which way you FALL; it's too easy to make up a sensible story that doesn't give the correct procedure (and I've fallen both directions more times than I can count). I'd rather just think about what is supposed to happen. In the spring, we want the light to last longer in the evening; the SUN isn't going to change, so when the sun's at a specific position at, say 6pm, we just move the clock to 7pm, and Voila!, it stayed light longer. Similarly, in the fall, we want it to get dark earlier at night (or equivalently, get light earlier in the morning), so at 6pm, if we just move the clock to 5pm, BAM!, it's dark earlier.
(Or if you insist on mnemonic devices, SPRING has more letters than FALL (for heaven's sake, don't use AUTUMN), and FORWARD has more letters than BACK, and we should match them up longer-with-longer and shorter-with-shorter: SPRING FORWARD, FALL BACK

Thanks for the compliment, Gary!
Was I serious?
Well, I seriously apologize if anyone was late for church after following my free advice. 🫣

Thanks, Jeff. :) I think I can"fix" my Miscellaneous column in the rotation schedule spreadsheet by just selecting it and "sorting alphabetically". That should break up the pattern clusters I inadvertently put in when I filled out that column originally.

Remember the rubber bands to keep from spilling your punchcards while re-programming your rotation! There’s nothing worse than dropping them!43B32700-32AE-4C95-80F4-D98B64E999D8.jpeg

Nice Craftsman Jon....that had to be a grand experience.

No time to dilly-dally this morning. Headed out the door in a short bit for some surgery at the hospital and then I suppose a trip to x-ray for my toe I stubbed yesterday. Dang sure it's broke - turned all shades of black, blue, yellow, and some weird color. Anyway, I'll be totin this Lambfoot in case they need something really sharp for the surgery. I don't think I'm suppose to eat anything before the surgery so, I'll just make do with black coffee for breakfast.

Very Marchie😁 Mr.P " In like a lion..out like a lamb ". They should be good companions....since Elijah, most likely, has to guard the home front.😺

Stag/Horn Knife of the Week is a Case stag Peanut I got "for a song" at a local gun&knife show:

Work Knife of the Week is a Chinese Imperial Sodbuster Jr style knife. I carried this knife just last week (as the Colonial/Imperial/OldTimer representative), and it snuck back into my pocket this week in a different category. Hard to get mad at this cheerful yellow slicer, though.

Ack! I just found 2 more clocks that needed to be set for DST! Making the total, in my home, 17! Either we need to ditch this whole time change thing, or I need to have a clock sale!
Halfrich Rounder heard a bit of cursing this morning!
