Had this Pony Jack in my pocket today——the first crappie fishing trip of the season. Kept twelve; nothing big——just 9”-11” eaters, but considering the water temperature dropped four degrees over the weekend and with the bitter cold, windy conditions, I consider this trip a success.

Thanks Bob! It was quite the trip. New Delhi is a bit different from southern America . Several years behind China in their infrastructure and development, but coming along at a rapid pace.

I love the old Wengers more than any new Vic models and many other knives.
I love the industrial finnish,the date stamp,the history,the Waffenkontrolle stamp,the bale and the fact that tool for weight there is no more useful knive around.

No time to dilly-dally this morning. Headed out the door in a short bit for some surgery at the hospital and then I suppose a trip to x-ray for my toe I stubbed yesterday. Dang sure it's broke - turned all shades of black, blue, yellow, and some weird color. Anyway, I'll be totin this Lambfoot in case they need something really sharp for the surgery. I don't think I'm suppose to eat anything before the surgery so, I'll just make do with black coffee for breakfast.

Oh no! Hope everything at both docs went well and that you're back home already and healing up.

I carried these two today:

It's hard to think of any cutting task I may attempt with a pocket knife that couldn't be accomplished be one or the other of these.

Lacey is home and doing as well as possible under the circumstances. She'll be a little bored for the next three weeks during recovery, but after that, the surgeon thinks she'll be great. Thanks for all the prayers and good thoughts.


(I hope they don't make Modoc ED wear one of these E-collars!)
