Is the snake eating the fish, or vice versa? I can't tell LOL. Awesome photos!
I wondered the same thing, and agree about the quality of the pics! :thumbsup::thumbsup::cool:

And, I had a wonderful 44th birthday yesterday. One of my daughters tried her handiwork at a Buck 55 card for me. Definitely a highlight of my day!

Couple of Porch favorites, Paul! :cool::cool::thumbsup:

I seem to remember I got it pretty cheap. Maybe from somebody with short thumbnails.

Archaic and aristocratic! :thumbsup::cool::cool:

Sweet pair, Steve; outstanding ironwood on your Guardians lambsfoot! :cool::thumbsup::cool:

These two at the moment. Didn't think the little tiny Camillus was going to get here til Thursday, so it was a nice surprise to have it in the mailbox today.

If I'm interpreting the tang stamp correctly, I think this is from 1970s or early 80s, but I'm no expert (and have seen slightly conflicting commentary online, so I dunno).

It needs a bunch of cleanup and a sharpening, but I think it's in pretty good condition overall. Based on the seller's pics, I was thinking it would be a good recover candidate, but these black plastic (Delrin, probably?) slabs are actually in nice shape. It has no snap at the moment, but I don't think that's anything that a good flushing and oiling won't fix.

Congrats on your cool Camillus "rope knife"! :thumbsup::thumbsup::cool:

A couple of my favorite metal cutters for Monday, the golden jewel a kind gift from @Jack Black. :)
That Löwe von Luzern SAK is sensational, JJ! :cool::thumbsup::thumbsup:

I will be chugging along with this tank today. Pants will ride lower with this one in your pocket.😃View attachment 2140981View attachment 2140980
Love the old, valiant, beguiling OVB with the ornate liners, Bob! :thumbsup::cool::thumbsup: Do you know the purpose of the "extra" plain liner at the bottom of your photo of the back springs?

That's a choice Churchill! :cool::cool::thumbsup:

Good morning Gary. Very keen eyes, I believe it was used to help in the centering of the 2 blades and spike.

You lucked out, my friend. :) If you ever do get hail like that don't go outside without a hard hat.😀

Thanks, Gary. :thumbsup: I found that antique at the WI blade show while in the company of some new friends and fellow forum members, it was a fun day.:)

Case Knife of the Week is this yellow synthetic CV copperhead (thanks, Steve). Sensational knife, but I can't seem to sharpen it to my satisfaction. I'm not a good sharpener, but I can keep most of my knives sharp enough for my purposes. There are a few knives that just confound me when it comes to sharpening, and this is one of them.

Colonial/Imperial/Schrade Knife of the Week is a Schrade Walden Anniversary whittler (thanks, Tony):
