Picked up this beautiful blue line micarta fixed blade from my neighbor Charlie Bell today. BG42 steel (rare!) RC 61 after cryo, perfect balance, lazer sharp. Going to get lots of use.
Love the micarta choices, as well as overall design. Nice knives.

I basically never use a pocket slip, but something about that wood made it tough to just throw this one my pocket like I normally would, so I grabbed this slip that

Yup. Looks a bit dull, but brightening it up makes the metal too bright.

My favorite from the show. Carry that sucker in the watch pocket all the time. It has got me searching for more single blade spays. They are not very common fortunately for my wallet.I’m still digging that single spey, Paul. That was a great find!

I actually went for the Australian Ringed Gidgee .... swooped it up in my cart and waited for the sad news. I reckon I was blaming you ....... since you weren't around to defend yourself.
I reckon that the guy which boasted he was going to buy all of them went for the Ringed Gidgee.
That knife you got is pretty scary looking ...... with all them critter faces and all.

I actually like the way it looks! It just didn’t look as yellow as I’m used to seeing, so I wasn’t sure.
My biggest complaint is the amount of extra space they can take up in my pocket. I’ve already got enough crap in there!
I have been enjoying the shorts weather we’ve finally been having the last couple days. My Duluth shorts have that little coin pocket inside the right from pocket, which I can fit two folders in, and it keeps them upright and in place.
Yeah, not something you see a lot. They did make some single spey TC Barlows, must’ve been 2013 or 2014, but, you know, good luck with that.

Well I feel better now that I know I didn’t snag the one you were going for.
Sounds like you’re well-prepared for next time. Although it’s never been my favorite Micarta, it’s amazing how burlap-y that burlap Micarta can look sometimes.

GottaI had these two 2-bladed clip jacks today.
the pre-depression/pre-war Robeson's, Especially the Pocket Eze models.Wish I knew what happened to my c.1911~1917 Pocket Eze equal end 2 blade jack.
If I'd know it was going to vanish, I'da carried it a lot more.
