Great photo of a classic Bart.Alox SAK this morning.![]()
Jer, I must have missed Harvey Korman fighting sharks. I rarely watched Carol Burnett's show, and I don't know why; whenever I did, I invariably found Conway and Korman immensely amusing.Landshark always reminds me of the SNL sketch in the aftermath of JAWS. First year, I think.
And by a small leap, social worker Vicki Lawrence hiring Harvey Korman to lash himself to a toilet seat and fight a shark in a tenement's plumbing system.
Back to the farm this morning at last. I'll have my Chinese genuine Japanese hori hori on me, too. (The Japanese original genuine Japanese hori hori I was looking at at the same time had a half tang and a smaller discount, as I recall.)

Oh, and I'll have to show off my new Marttiini lumberjackin' lynx.
Did I tell you guys that my bat exclusion guarantee doesn't guarantee the exclusion of bats? That's where I was at last Wednesday morning.

Love your stag prototype Lambshark, Mike!
Exceptional picture Ellis !!!
It’s like cloud-watching, all it takes is one person to point it out and then you can’t un-see it. Looks exactly like a little baby lamb face![]()
My favorite of 2022, with my favorite “girly knife purse”. Lazy day in the country with my grandparents. Nap time![]()
I'm not looking!
Edit - Why do half the emojis not work?!![]()
That Encore is a Pruner benchmark- patina or the grime of time on the Stag, a beautiful threaded bolster, butt-plate for hammering, and a frame that makes the most of the blade itself. Collectors' aspiration, cutler's manifestation
At least it's not wood so you can't be disquieted by the multitude of leering faces....but those grooves and fissures could open up and lead to 'Journey to the Centre of the Earth '![]()
Some beautiful bikes. When you start riding again, it will make it that much more enjoyable
I tried to ride my bike on Tuesday the pain in my hand was just to much,I couldnt do it.
Thanks GaryLove your stag prototype Lambshark, Mike!
And thanks for the link to the Landshark skit on SNL; I've been remembering it fondly for many years, but it's actually better than I remembered!

John you may want to try one of these.
It really is a beauty WillFresh in and I must add thanks todave308ek for kindly forwarding me this gem of Americana after I bought it on the Exchange
It was when Queen was on the Cutlery Throne 20 years ago, so I think it appropriate to show it with a Goddess- part of the Knife Pantheon
Fact is, I can't find fault here: no gaps, no play, flush springs open/shut, formidable W&T I feel fortunate to own this piece of desirable Americana, my knife tastes have altered- carry a single blade paired with a Stockman now nearly every day.
