What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Alox SAK this morning.

Great photo of a classic Bart.

Landshark always reminds me of the SNL sketch in the aftermath of JAWS. First year, I think.
And by a small leap, social worker Vicki Lawrence hiring Harvey Korman to lash himself to a toilet seat and fight a shark in a tenement's plumbing system.

Back to the farm this morning at last. I'll have my Chinese genuine Japanese hori hori on me, too. (The Japanese original genuine Japanese hori hori I was looking at at the same time had a half tang and a smaller discount, as I recall.)

Oh, and I'll have to show off my new Marttiini lumberjackin' lynx.
Did I tell you guys that my bat exclusion guarantee doesn't guarantee the exclusion of bats? That's where I was at last Wednesday morning.

(Case, Case, Kutmaster over Vic, Wright, Kutmaster)
Jer, I must have missed Harvey Korman fighting sharks. I rarely watched Carol Burnett's show, and I don't know why; whenever I did, I invariably found Conway and Korman immensely amusing.

Doesn't seem like it's legal for a bat exclusion guarantee NOT to guarantee the exclusion of bats! o_O:eek:😲 Is it one of those deals where the naming rights have been sold to the highest bidder?

Love your stag prototype Lambshark, Mike!
And thanks for the link to the Landshark skit on SNL; I've been remembering it fondly for many years, but it's actually better than I remembered!

My Lambsfoot this week happens to be the Chinese Schrade 19OT Landshark that descended from Mike's model:

Miscellaneous Knife of the Week is a Rite Edge Barlow:

Beautiful knives, nicely captured for a fine picture !😍

It’s like cloud-watching, all it takes is one person to point it out and then you can’t un-see it. Looks exactly like a little baby lamb face 🤯

He can hide his eyes, but, I know he can see it ! The tiger is upside down today. If he don't behave himself ...... or if I get to be jealous, I might start pointing out the scary stuff ! ;)🤣🤣🤣
.......................... and there's a lot of that ! 👻💀👺👹👿☠️🤣

My favorite of 2022, with my favorite “girly knife purse”. Lazy day in the country with my grandparents. Nap time :)

That's a fine looking slip, girly or not ....... I think it's not.😍😍

I'm not looking! 🫣😉🤣

Edit - Why do half the emojis not work?!

I know you can see that little lamb face Mr. Jack ........ you better guard that little lamb really close ! 🤣🤣🤣

That Encore is a Pruner benchmark- patina or the grime of time on the Stag, a beautiful threaded bolster, butt-plate for hammering, and a frame that makes the most of the blade itself. Collectors' aspiration, cutler's manifestation

At least it's not wood so you can't be disquieted by the multitude of leering faces....but those grooves and fissures could open up and lead to 'Journey to the Centre of the Earth '🙀👹

Thank you Will !
I never thought about the grooves and fissures !:p🤣

I tried to ride my bike on Tuesday the pain in my hand was just to much,I couldnt do it.

So sadly I had to go to the Bike shop open day in my car today.

Still it was nice to be around bikes and the sun was out at times.

I took the country lanes I would normally ride on my bike.

Some beautiful bikes. When you start riding again, it will make it that much more enjoyable

Thanks Gary  The skit was funnier than I remembered it too :D

Boker Club in the pocket today. The lighting/exposure make the handles look darker than they are.

Fresh in and I must add thanks to dave308ek dave308ek for kindly forwarding me this gem of Americana after I bought it on the Exchange  It was when Queen was on the Cutlery Throne 20 years ago, so I think it appropriate to show it with a Goddess- part of the Knife Pantheon;)

Fact is, I can't find fault here: no gaps, no play, flush springs open/shut, formidable W&T I feel fortunate to own this piece of desirable Americana, my knife tastes have altered- carry a single blade paired with a Stockman now nearly every day.

It really is a beauty Will:thumbsup::thumbsup:

So happy it finally made it and I could help. I have a Queen carved white stag bone D2 same age and it too is flawless.
Congrats on this one!

I had my Case Trapper with me while taking out our lawn today:

Since I don't have a Sodbuster, I was forced to rent this to help out:

Most of the way there:

We have somebody coming on Monday to pick up the used lawn we piled up on the driveway (plus the rubble in the background from taking out the sidewalk):

Now we need to play with the dogs a little bit (they are sad that they haven't been allowed to help) and then drink some wine. In four or five years we'll (hopefully) be able to drink some wine we made from grapes we grew in the front yard! And that wine, that is hopefully at least mediocre, will make this all worthwhile.

Thank you very much JJ, my mate suffered a TKO in the second round, but you can't win them all ;) :)
Isn't that the truth! :)
I do enjoy seeing your Gallic blades my friend :) I don't recall seeing the Salers before
Thanks a lot, Jack!!! :) Great eye as it is a recent find! 😁
Have a fantastic weekend everyone :)

You too, Jack! :) If you're going to grab one, your new beauty or your Hartshead are both marvelous choices!👍👍
