I have a few knives like that Jeff. They sit trembling...wondering when they will be sent away.Thank you sir! Except I don’t own it. I just exchanged some $ for the joy of being it’s custodian. I kind of feel that way about knives that are way older than ne.
The previous owner definitely thought he was the owner ~ his initials are “engraved” in the blade.View attachment 2162407
I see. Probably smart. I try to get my compost piles to heat up high enough to kill the dandelion seeds. Sometimes it works.
Thanks for sharing your thoughts, John.
At first, I imagined you were talking about a Schrade Old Timer, the 33 Middleman Jack, because that’s exactly how I thoughf of it.
Nice knife.
Thanks, Steve! I think when it was made, the 194 was just a gleam in Daddy Schrade’s eye, to paraphrase a favorite saying of my Dad’s.View attachment 2162409View attachment 2162410
Hope your Dad’s going to be ok, Jim.
I had to chuckle at this. That’s exactly how Manny gets excited when I bag up the trash to take it out front. He gets to go out front! And on Tuesday evening, that’s special because when I take the cans out to the road, he gets to smell where the neighbor’s dogs get walked by our driveway. You probably don’t pee there like he does, though…
Puttin on the Fancy for Sunday!
I was going to tell Ed that @JohnDF has probably been posting Lanbsfeet in your Guardians thread.
I should pop in there soon to say hi.
Need more time![]()
Your formula was quite the hit on some Mahi Mahi. Thanks again for sharing.
