What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

As you know I like to use and don’t mind signs of use on my tools.
But 2 scratches on the cap lifter where annoying me.
I used various grades of emery paper which gave it a bit of a Matt look which I liked.
Using a block of wood worked best

I cleaned 100 years of grime of my new Bun penny using the old school boy trick.
Soak it in brown sauce overnight,I then polished it with metal polish.
A quick wire brush of my new Toffee hammer as well.

Make do and mend as they said in WW2.
