What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Taking the dogs out, have this Marbles Loveless sport in 52100 on my hip and a Case/Bose Lanny's Clip in the pocket. Getting ready for a 60 mile backpacking trip to the spiritual Scapegoat wilderness.

Every time I see that Marbles I have the same thought. "Wow, that is gorgeous". I wish makers today were making one like it. There is nothing that I would change.

I have not carried this Sears Craftsman peanut style jack in a long time. I think he was starting to feel unwanted.

Well if he starts to feel TOO neglected, you could always send him on a little vacation to Baltimore. He certainly wouldn't feel that way here. ;)

Kris, your photo skills and beautiful knives never cease to amaze me! Nice shots of that Whittler:thumbup:

Agreed. Kris - that is a fantastic knife.

Protourist - have you checked out any of the more recent Scagels being produced by Mike Stewart/Bark River? As the former head designer for Marbles (back when production was still domestic), I think that Mike and company are producing some of the closest kin, in both style and quality, to what you (and I) are wishing for.
