What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Haven't carried this mini-trapper in a while. Not sure why, it's one of my faves:

I'd be carrying that one in a knife purse too, Kevin! ;)

Beautiful knife!

Thanks Gary, I find that I like it for keeping the knife upright in the pocket, as much as for its protective qualities.

I do it for the same reason, Kris. I also find that the pouch is less slippery than a knife, and helps keep them in my pocket.

Removing the bail and its' pin doesn't seem to have affected the blades security. I'm guessing there must be a hollow pin that the blade pivots on?

Hmmmm, that's really interesting, I'd love to know the answer to this.
Really great pic BTW

For the same reason I like to keep the knife in sheath. Just a thought, maybe I should make a sheath with the rough side out to enhance that effect.

Tomorrow it will be my soddie. Not a flashy knife, but I think quite good for a so inexpensive slipjoint. The handle is very comfortable.

I dropped this Kosie Steenkamp friction folder in my pocket and it has been a great companion for the last week - for whatever reason I am really enjoying the blade shape
Bohler Uddenholm Nc690 stainless, very high hollow grind, maroon G10 ( that doesn't show well in photos - mine anyway!)
Blade length 2 5/8" length open 6 3/8" and carries small - great knife!

Today I had a case stockman in bone in the left pocket and a zt0350 in the right. I very much prefer my trads to the tactical style, but that 0350 is darn handy here on the farm.
Jmac30 please tell us more about that very cool gem.
