What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Thanks, Bob, this ringed gidgee is a wood that needs to be seen in person to really appreciate. It has layers of grain running in different directions that are hard to capture (at least for me!) in a photo.

These two today, Molly says she approvesView attachment 2173519
Molly looks like a real sweet friend! Lovely girl. 🥰
Great lamb with that deep and mysterious coat.👍🏻

A never ending show of classy knives.👍🏻 That is beautiful wood on your lamb.👏
I appreciate your always kind approval, buddy.
That #72 carpenters whittler is a great all arounder! I really enjoy my jigged black one but your trim package is much better!
I think so, too.
It’s the perfect alternative to a stockman for those who don’t like spey blades. Love the little clip, and the coping blade is perfect for woodwork.

Photo taken at the Keurig coffee maker in the Subaru dealer’s waiting room. My wife would love it ~ HGTV on the bigscreen🤣

I have two 72s, both $10 scores at the flea market. Although I love Delrin for it’s utility, I wouldn’t mind finding a short line tang stamp 72 in Rogers bone!

Two great knives as usual, Todd.
Thanks Jeremy! 😎👍

Camillus BSA 72 Carpenter’s Whittler, and Harry’s gift, my A.Wright Lambsfoot.

The sun is warming the soil, and my phone weather app tells me that the nighttime lows should be climbing up out of the frost range…I’ve already sown peas, kale, spinach, lettuce, and potatoes. Other stuff is germinating in the greenhouse.
Finally have my bathroom remodel almost done, so I can work outside with a clean conscience.
Have a fine day, Porch Friends!🙂
Nice knives…you da man.jpeg

By chance, on the way to town yesterday, we spotted a Frontier Communications truck at of all places, the Brass Rail Restaurant and I pulled over and let the repairman know our problem with our phone. He pulled out a device from his pocket, punched our phone number in it, and said we'd have our dial tone and service by the time we got home and lo and behold we did. I'll be carrying my 3 3/8" Case 6235 1/2 capped jack again today along with Bunny #525 in my pockets and Buck 055 in it's belt sheath. Sausage and waffles for breakfast.

Well done, Ed. You saved an hour and a half waiting on hold listening to bad music and the repeated “Your call is very important to us. Please continue to hold”.

Have a great trip, Jack!
Thanks a lot Gary 🙂👍
Gorgeous morning here, too bad I have to go to work. 😄
Having these two with me will help. 👍View attachment 2173466
A fine pair for the chalk-face Todd! 🙂👍
Looks like you are well prepared. Have a safe and enjoyable journey Jack.
Thank you James 🙂👍
You mentioned Stuart @Duckdog ~ as I recall, he inherited a nice knife collection, and was working his way through them, shiwing them here. I miss his photos and posts, too!
Safe travels, my friend. You’re within easy travelling distance of many explorable places. When the kids lived in Scotland, they took advantage of cheap fares, and explored most of Euro land. 🤙
I sure hope Stuart comes back one day 🙂 Good for them Jeff 😎 I used to travel all over Europe, mainly by train and boat, but I've only just got the urge to explore again after a decade at home. Harder now! 😁👍
This morning's duo . . .
