What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Saw it at the theatre around 1970, but seen it many times since. Own the DVD. Josey Wales is up there too: Josey Wales: "You a bounty hunter?" Bounty hunter: "Man's gotta do something for a living these days." Josey Wales: "Dying ain't much of a living....boy." Great dialogue. The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly is great too.
I’m partial to Dirty Harry because when I’m sitting on my little front porch I can see the cross on top of Mt. Davidson which is where Harry nailed Scorpio with his stiletto.

Cool! Speaking of cool, wasn't Bullitt also filmed in SF?
It was indeed! I used to drive up Mansell Street going to and from work which was part of the chase scene. If you google a map of the chase scene it is not exactly accurate. It jumps around a lot but is still one of the best car chase scenes filmed imho. I loved catching some air on my MC occasionally riding it. 😀

So many great things going on in your post Jon.
Glad you have the time to enjoy outings like that.
Their memories of adventures with you, will be deep and cherished I'm sure.

I know it’s already been said, but your kids will never forget the memory you gave them today Jon. Bravo my friend! 👏

Thanks so much Bob, and I do appreciate it Todd. I’ve gotten many waves of encouragement over the past few years from the Porch community and I am very grateful. I have a really great crew and I’m a blessed man.

I’m just thankful I kept my desires to break out a tape measure or a speed square in check 🤣.

I’ve been slacking on posting due to a crazy time at work the last few months. I am just going to have to get my priorities straight and make time to post every day. We are in the Gatlinburg area for the week, so I packed these to bring along. I hope everyone is doing well!

Our orioles & humming birds both showed up this past week. Like last year, we spotted them both the same day. The orioles always return to the same area, and they've been nesting in our trees out back for years. And I don't know how many pounds of sugar my wife goes through every Summer feeding the humming birds. Those things are little hogs.:)

I like a lot of Eastwood films. Off the top of my head, I'd say Josie Wales is my favorite. That said, I haven't seen Kelly's Heroes in a couple of decades. The last couple of times it was broadcast, it was so chopped up with commercials, I couldn't watch it. Finally decided to buy the silly thing. After I watch it, I might change my mind :)
I've also enjoyed most of the Eastwood movies I've seen, but my favorite is probably Paint Your Wagon just for the novelty of Clint singing several songs in a Western musical. 🤓 I think I still have the soundtrack (on LP), and many of the songs used to be part of my dishwashing repertoire; no Neil Young songs in that musical, though.
