Great pair Mr.P.
The knives on your coffee mug look like butterscotch for your pocket, Jeff! It’s a nice day, but overcast, so the sunshine is in my pocket. View attachment 2184397Little wirk day at church pulling weeds. Then I had to go buy a suit. Got a wedding party in Omaha, and Mrs Fleshwund says no tweed sportscoat over jeans, which has been my “dress up” outfit since giving all of my old suits to Salvation Army. Kinda spendy! Coulda bought some nice knives instead.

Handsome stag whittler, Gary!Decided I'd carry this one for Stag Saturday. 2005 Case-Bose Lockback Whittler.

I'm with you, Tyson!Every time I see one of these, I think for s second, "Case finally made a lambsfoot!" Then I remember that the official position of the Guardians is that these aren't quite lambsfootn but are "lambscliffe".Either way, they look pretty cool to me.
Very guiet to this day. I don't fear the devil, as much as, the illegal hunters.
Kudo's to your friend for his biking adventures.
Thanks for the info on your background KK, JJ!Thanks Gary!!! It,s a container with some old KK dining sets.![]()

Stellar stag, JJ!
Thanks for the wood ID, Jeff; definitely not plain! Thanks, Gary. Good ‘ol American Black Walnut with just enough swirl to not be plain.
Groundhog? Really greasy. Don’t recommend.
Cool handle on the old Opinel, Jeff!View attachment 2185255Opinel #7, and Wenger Handyman

Thanks for the info on your dogs' riding privileges, Bart. Thanks, Gary. Yeah, they ride on it all the time…until they get all wet or muddy, then they’re on their own.
Splendor in the Grass, Bob!Good day everyone..just my lamb..View attachment 2185397
Looks like you've mastered that "fancy" guided sharpening system, Bob. I have a DMT Magna Guide that I need to practice with.I appreciate your comments Gary. My TSProf is responsible for that fine edge.
It needs some doctoring to get both sides even.
Enjoy your Sunday.
Thanks GT! That was a memorable release, I think they turned out better than expected.![]()
Thank you, GT. I've seen Caddyshack I-don't-know-how-many times, "which is nice".
I like this HJ a lot, there is a crack near the shield, I'm not too motivated to do anything about it.

Nice lineup; handsome handle on the Opinel!Hope everyone has a great week!
Rotation for this week.

I admire the "endcap" on the horn handle, José!
Cherish the Churchills!
That 4-blade barrel knife with ebony covers is a very appealing knife, Jer!...
I'm not senile enough to need to name all my knives (or I'm too senile to think up that many names), but this Sabot tonneau has so much character.

Audrey Fleurot as the Lady of the Lake it ain't; it's more like Marie Dressler's Tugboat Annie.
I'll refer to it as Roughneck.
It's early, but I'd be surprised if this doesn't turn out to be "Best Tip of the Week"!When my edc was a sak, I routinely tied it up in a sock and threw it in the laundry. Easier and more thorough than blowing the lint out.
Thanks Gary...you are probably much better than I at free hand. The knives on your coffee mug look like butterscotch for your pocket, Jeff!
Congrats on the new suit! If I have to "dress up", I still wear the suit I bought for our wedding 38 years ago. I like traditional knives, and I tend to go for "traditional clothing styles", too, that are usually "almost in fashion" any time.
Handsome stag whittler, Gary!
I'm with you, Tyson!I'm not sophisticated enough to be able to tell the difference between that blade from Case and a "real lamb foot".
Thanks for the info on your background KK, JJ!
Stellar stag, JJ!What pattern is the Bulldog? Lotta blades there!
Thanks for the wood ID, Jeff; definitely not plain!
I'm not considering eating the ground hog; I just want her to get a "Not In My Back Yard" message.
Cool handle on the old Opinel, Jeff!I'm guessing that's NOT the standard beechwood handle.
Thanks for the info on your dogs' riding privileges, Bart.

I have a single-blade version in oak from the same cutlery, and am very pleased with it.

Thanks, Gary! It doesn't get out much!Handsome stag whittler, Gary!![]()
That's so AWESOME!!! please wish Scout a belated HAPPY BIRTHDAY BarrettToday was my daughter Scout’s third birthday, so I was carrying the #15 Nifebrite that I had with me the day she was born.
![]()
We went out for breakfast, then took her to a little local toy store that our girls love so she could pick out one gift for herself (sort of a birthday tradition we started on Eleanor’s last birthday). We took Scout to her first movie in a theater (The Super Mario Bros. Movie). She did great and enjoyed the movie. This was the first year we didn’t go to the zoo on Scout’s birthday, but we did go yesterday, so…
As always, here is Scout’s “birthday knife” photo recap, along with her new pic from today.

Good news on both of ya, Ed!Carrying a Buck 501 Squire with Birchwood covers today. Coco is doing better. My swallow is 90% back. Sausage and waffles for breakfast. Bunny 525 threw a hissy-fit because I benched him so I've slipped him in my spare pocket.

Nice set-up, Chief!Been using this Cookshack PG-500 pellet smoker for 7 years. Heavy stainless, expensive, but will last longer than I will. It has a small grill directly over the firebox useful for searing etc. Had a small Traeger for a couple years before that but it's too small. If in the market today, would consider a Weber Smokefire 2 or Rectec.
Using a couple of Amazin' smoke tubes on this Cowboy ribeye
Friend gave me some ribs he cooked on a stick burner that were so good it gave me stick burner envy so bought this cheap Oklahoma Joe's reverse flow offset a couple years ago. It's a pain compared to the pellet smoker, constantly feeding the fire, however, the deep smoke flavor is unmatched.
Also have a Santa Maria BBQ style pit that is nothing more than a metal fire box with a grate over it that you can crank up and down. Best tool I have for chicken skin. Wife has a propane grill that hasn't been used in several years. Hoping to move it to the road for big trash day when she isn't looking!Today is spaghetti day and being micarta Monday am using this Charlie Bell BG42 blade with blue line micarta to slice up onions, garlic, mushrooms for the sauce.
I like the Merkator like Boker… and a Boker Atlas

I swear I was going to say that!Very dark and mysterious today Yanni....but great trio.
Sweet knife, Buddy.Toting this little guy around today. Very pocket friendly. Remington half-congress.
A loyal and devoted friend who’d give her life for you rwo deserves that love you’re giving back. That's an older picture of her JeffAmir Fleschwund . We do the best we can by her. She isn't suffering - just uncomfortable at times and does have trouble getting around (especially steps) sometimes but she isn't ready to go. Here's a current picture of her - showing her age somewhat but still my girl. Best to Manny!!

You have a nice looking place for well deserved ralaxing, Paul.Cleaned and stained our deck last Wednesday and Thursday, and then put the furniture and rug out today so I'm ready for the weekend.
You’re good Dad, my friend. Those girls have a blessed life.Today was my daughter Scout’s third birthday, so I was carrying the #15 Nifebrite that I had with me the day she was born.
