Awesome pair Mr P, that bayonet is quite a tote!When I was a kid, there were bayonets from that period, all over the place, I don't know what happened to them all, but sadly a lot of them probably got chucked in 'amnesty bins' or sent for scrap
There were two under the table my grandmother used for kneading bread, casually tossed there
My great grandfather had brought them back from WW1, and my dad and uncle fenced with them as kids. When their old house was demolished, they left virtually everything behind
