Thanks mate😃
Yeah she will be ok, has to wear a splint bit of physio, mri & see how it is in a month.
Probably should have been seen to sooner but as Lorna has autism & is 19 takes a bit od negotiating to get things done that aren't routine😉
Mitch
It’s the same with folks with Down Syndrome, Mitch. We learn to embrace the routine. 🙂

Lambsfoot of the Week is this Hartshead Lambsfoot Barlow Jackknife that I named LamBarJack:

Miscellaneous Knife of the Week is a Japanese Sabre Daddy Barlow that a former work colleague gave me after finding it while cleaning out his late father-in-law's garage. I've cleaned it up some, but it still could use more TLC.

Orange and black go together so well ... Harley colors, OK State University, and many other sports teams use that combo. Getting estimates for HVAC replacement, both home units have doubled their life expectancy and are limping. Have a great day!

Love the lamb parade Gary and Jeff.

Agreed, Jack, they were in the 1980 Schrade catalogs.

Yes, they came out of the Richards of Sheffield factory, Richards having previous acquired Rodgers-Wostenholm, and then being sold to Imperial. They were very much a secret project in Sheffield, but I knew some of the Rodgers cutlers who worked there then. Some of the parts were actually made by Camillus, as you can see by comparing the lock-backs. A couple of years before he died, Stan Shaw, who worked for Wostenholm at one time, made me a knife, from old parts, supplied by Mrs Slater of Slater Brothers/H.M. Slater. I'm not sure how Mrs Slater got hold of the parts, but things move around in Sheffield ;)

We got sisal/aspen pads for the swamp cooler this year but don't like them so we're swapping them out for "Dura Cool" pads. If a knife is needed, I'll be totin "Patch" my slammed in the truck door, shield knocked out, shieldless, patched with J-B-Weld, CV, Sod Buster Jr.. Chopped up sausage and eggs for breakfast.
