Great knife and and enjoy the holiday. Not my Queen , but an interesting lady.Celebrating Victoria Day here in B.C, with a nice 3 7/8" Joseph Rodgers Lambfoot in my pocket!!View attachment 2194468View attachment 2194473
Absolutely a joy, and one where Schrade really hit the nail on the head shape and size wise, sit perfectly between a Case medium Trapper and the full size.“A joy” is the perfect praise for the venerable 293, and that one’s a joy to see.
They really got the balance and handle shape right for my hands.

Great story Jon...but you brought him to the dark side now!The birthday celebrations continue to draw out for my boy Joseph. You only turn 13 once!
One of the beauties of his autism is the extreme blunt truth that rolls out of him like a freight train. If I ask him about what he thinks of my knives, he says, “I care nothing about your knives.” He says it with 100% truth and with no slight meant whatsoever.
Well, tonight I got him. He loves steam engines and “Big Boy” was the biggest of them all. I found this knife on the auction site and knew it would be great to blend his passion and mine. He erupted with joy and was all in that it was a “Big Boy” pocket. knife. It is an absolute brick. Two solid slabs of brass. Sheesh. Definitely designed by Franklin Mint tchotchke designers not cutlers.
