Our dog and I tend to prefer having few deviations from our daily routines. Thanks kindly Gary...and as always for the Sunday chuckle.
I will take the mundane now, over the chaos of my earlier years.
Nice trio Gary !
Thanks, Steve.
Thanks for highlighting the Esquire's virtues, Rachel! The Esquire is quite small, and that's what makes it the perfect watch-pocket accompaniment to a larger knife. The coping blade has 3 centimeters of cutting edge (longer than a standard #11 scalpel blade) for when you need precision!

I haven't seen a gas can like that since about 1970; great shot of your Case stockman!
Are you going for a personal record in "consecutive days carried" with this versatile Franco-American pair, Jer?
Aren't there Old Cutler knives, too? If you have one, you could work that into your old-themed photo, Mike....
Anyway I've been hanging out inside today. Had a little insomnia last night so I did my work out, then took a nap. Now I'm watching NASCAR. Used the Old Timer to open a snack and the Old Hickory to chop some pepper and onion for eggs, but didn't take a pic of it. Old Timer and Old Hickory......should have got some Old Folks sausage to go with all the "old" stuff

Couple of exciting words, Jeff!I suppose it’s fortunate I didn’t wish everyone a sublingual Sunday, huh?
Superannuated Hickory, and Venerable Timer just kinda lack something, Mike.
...
It's been overcast, grey and dark all day. It would be ok if we were getting any rain, 'cause we sure could use it, but my rain gauge only shows 0.25" so far
Better than nothing View attachment 2215515
We only got 0.1" of rain Sunday, our first rain since getting 0.5" total on May 7-8. Really dry here.Cold, dank, and drizzly, with the added insult of a paltry .2” of rain.
Outstanding pair, Jack!...
Have a good week everyoneStarting mine with a WAynorth Lambsfoot, and a Vic Farmer

No Old Cutler here, GT. IIRC they were made by Colonial?Aren't there Old Cutler knives, too? If you have one, you could work that into your old-themed photo, Mike.

Please don't stop! Great knives and warm, inviting picturesI sometimes feel like I'm repeating myself and not really bringing anything new to the table.
So that's your defense Ed? "Well, they're the ones that gave me a license!"?It's the California DMV that issues drivers licences to eighty year old drivers that's crazy
Shew! That ole girl is lookin fresh for being so oldA Humason & Beckley cleaned up. They stopped production in 1916.View attachment 2217335
Well I’ll settle for these beautiful pictures then! Great work my friend! I definitely have a tinkering threshold as well. I break out the woodworking for Christmas and birthday presents. I can’t bring myself to sustain it much past that. I can’t muster up the desire to do it for profit. That’s quite a comlpliment, thanks. But I haven’t got the time
I have some other stuff that’s been in line to get done (guitars!), and besides ~ I’d be nervous about modding someone else’s knife.

I have always liked the oily 93’s that have minimal “oilage”. Love this one!Of all the Rendezvous SFAs, this one is my fave!!! Absolutely SPECTACULAR
Here's my carry for today.

Those hunters are beasts! That’s a fine looking knife.Had this one for a while. Finally cleaned up the edge and dropped it in the pocket. Almost too much for even hip pocket carry. Might have to pursue a sheathView attachment 2217682
Thanks Jon...right place, right time....and alot of rubbing.Shew! That ole girl is lookin fresh for being so old. Great find!

Thanks, good buddy! Yes, Mr. Voos made good knives.Jeff, great work on the Bocote jack.I can see you will have no trouble with the Voos' filling your cutting needs.

Yes, ma’am. A proud tip = a cut fingertip!Thanks, Jack!
Thank you. They started out as a spear blades, but I had to reshape them to make it pocketable.

Beauriful Northfiemd, my friend.
Dogs like to pee in the same spots! Our dog and I tend to prefer having few deviations from our daily routines.
Couple of exciting words, Jeff!
Didn't the Rolling Stones have a sublingual song titled "Under My Tongue"?

Since the nail nicks were already so low to the frame, I had to file down the spine, turning the main spear into a narrow sheepsfoot. I did my best to blend the swedge, but it's not perfect. Perfectly usable knife now, though.Yes, ma’am. A proud tip = a cut fingertip!
So you filed the kicks?
I got this knife because of the pattern, tools & unique covers. Really like the black Texdel (although my eyes tell me its looks like really dark blue). The hex bit holder works, but a hex shaped hole would be better to capture & hold the bits.Looks like a useful bit driver kit.
How do you like the Johnny on the spot? It sure looks like a great edc.
I might be there already. Are you going for a personal record in "consecutive days carried" with this versatile Franco-American pair, Jer?![]()
