What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Nice. @Old Engineer let me coon finger his Arlo B,, and I found it so nice that I’d be afraid to use it!
They are definitely nice knives, but still meant to be used. It is my personal opinion that the AB fixed blades are a great value at their current price point. They are very well made and are premium materials, with a custom level fit and finish. The Bongo you quoted is a recent arrival, and is the largest of the AB fixed blades that I have. I typically carry smaller AB fixed blades, as they are a very nice size for EDC.

Or how about ~ Da mihi bubulae frustrum assae; Give me a hamburger.

Ahh, country living!
Where are you, if I may ask? You have a stunning view. 👍🏻

If you fish in the ‘bay for that pattern, you run across some that previous owners have tried to grind the screwdriver blade into something else. I’ve bought a couple or three of those and reshaped them into small sheepfoot blades. Fun mod with a clean conscience since it’s no longer original. And cheap to buy!

Hope you made a killing on the links, Bob!

How’s the NJ air quality?
Thanks! I’m in southwest VA.

LOL! 🤣

Photo from last evening. I worked in the garden, in the rain, all day. It was glorious. Predicted about .2”, but a heavier shower that lasted 20 or 30 minutes brought that up to .7”. Woo Hoo! 🙌View attachment 2218609
I’ve become enamoured wifh the Canadian Belt Knife. Big enough, very stout, yet dicreet enough on my belt for bumbling around in public. If I think someone could be triggered by seeing a knife, I can stick the dangler sheath into my pocket.

Couple of Jacks. Camillus and GEC Forum Knife.
The Hollyhocks by my mailbox are reaching for ths sky. Last year, they got 7 or 8 feet tall. When they bloom, and they bloom for a long time, they are stunning.
I harvest the seeds for next year.View attachment 2218610View attachment 2218611

Thanks, Jack!
Not enough rain means dragging hoses around, and making my well pump work, so a rainy day was indeed fun😃

It’s going on 10:00 pm in Merry Olde England, so go to bed, and rest up for being on your feet all day tomorrow. Have a fine Market Thursday, mi amigo.

Great looking dead skunk, Todd! Looks like it’s a great fit, or maybe I should tie dye a slip for it? 😳🤯🤣

Two great knives, David!!

A good day today.
I started with a big breakfast and a look around Bridgnorth town,my room is 100m away from the centre.
Then I set of for Church Stretton on twisty routes with no traffic and beautiful views.
I spent 2 hours looking in antique shops buying some old tools.
Then I headed over the mountain/big hill to The Bog an old lead mine community where I was given a cup of tea and had a look around.
I took the same road back,it’s single lane, lots of cattle grids, gravel, sheep, horses, holes, steep inclines and views out of this world.Shropshire feels like a bit of a hidden gem…love it.

Managed to observe WW around midday. Still no time to sit on the porch but please keep posting your carries ladies and gents, *especially* the older ones I get a real kick and learn some things from seeing them.
Amir Fleschwund Amir Fleschwund Glad you got your rain and garden day finally. I hope your face had the maniacal grin that I read into your tone?
