What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Hope everyone's having a great weekend! :)

Relaxing in the backyard this morning, gonna be a full day of leisure only for me. Starting off with this seldom carried Maher & Gross/GEC made 29. A classy looking knife IMO, which I guess is the reason I've kept it in a slip while carrying to avoid scratching it up. One of the few knives I own that only get carried when I know it won't be a day of heavy use.

Gonna take a ride down to Likely, California about 20-miles South of Alturas to the Likely General Store for a Grape Soda. It'll be a good way to get out and enjoy the scenery and waste gas. I'll be carrying my Rosewood two-blade Lambfoot. Sausage and eggs for breakfast.

I like totin a Peso on some of our journeys. We just never know when we might run across a Taco Stand.

Nice work on the TL mod !
Apreciate, buddy. That’s one piece of elk antler saved from the ignomy of becoming somebody’s dog chew.

Yeah, Greg. IAFO. In A.F.’s Opinion, too.
I have only a couple I treat like that ~ old Schrades with bone I do NOT want to crack. I try to tote them in @JohnDF’s very protective slip.

If you need a day of relaxation, I hope that means your business is doing well. 🤙

I think it's reasonable to baby a few from the collection, especially if there are enough others to put to use.
Business is operating at a manageable pace, it's this aging body of mine that needs a break. ;) Turning 65 tomorrow, how that happened I have no idea.😄
Enjoy your day my friend.

Thank you, Todd. No yard or maintenance work on my schedule today just some late afternoon grilling ahead. Hope you're having a good day too, my friend.:)

Those BF punch jacks always get my attention, Paul. Cool bone jigging, sweet blade combo and I always like the way a simple bar shield looks on a equal end knife.
Hope life is treating you well and you're enjoying the summer.:)

Well I finally made it back home after spending the night in Redwood City about 20 miles south of the City at my son’s house looking after our grandson while his mom delivered his little sister. It’s like a tale of two climates. Hot and dry versus natures AC here. I’m happy to be back in the fog belt of the City. Keeping me company for the rest of the day will be the usual lamb and what has become a Sunday tradition the Modoc Special thanks to our Porch friend Modoc ED Modoc ED .😃
