Ice water with frozen broccoli? I’m intrigued. Is this a doggie delicacy, something that the vet recommended, or a special request from Loretta?Went with the #72 today. Loretta was enjoying her ice water with frozen broccolI and then getting ready to sleep it off; I guess this is why they call it ”The Dog Days of Summer.”

Our late hound Buddy - who departed this life on 22 April - absolutely loved broccoli and asparagus ends, which surprised me, because I still have dogs mentally docketed as carnivores. Miss that old fellow.
Thank you Bart.I’m enjoying seeing that cowboy toothpick. I love Dave’s ram horn handles.
Awesome trick.Actually Loretta is our “grand dog”; raised with us but moved away with our daughter last October. She loves broccolI——fresh or frozen——as well as peas, green beans, carrots, sweet potatoes……Yesterday was a very hot day, so while our son in law was power washing the fence, our daughter gave Loretta the broccoli in the ice water to help keep her cool while stimulating her mind bobbing for the broccoli.
I’m so sorry about Buddy and know what you are going through. We had a lab we were very attached to for twelve years, but had to have him put down in 2016 because of cancer. That was hard on all of us. I still haven’t been able to talk Mrs. Crappie into getting another dog, so we just babysit Loretta when our daughter and son in law are out of town. We’re pretty close to that one too!
Well, Ed, I quoted you earlier, but got distracted by something, and hit Post reply without commenting on you post.Gonna take a ride down to Likely, California about 20-miles South of Alturas to the Likely General Store for a Grape Soda. It'll be a good way to get out and enjoy the scenery and waste gas. I'll be carrying my Rosewood two-blade Lambfoot. Sausage and eggs for breakfast.

I like totin a Peso on some of our journeys. We just never know when we might run across a Taco Stand.
Fantastic (and functional) pair for today Jon.
Thanks GT, you have a couple of winners today as well.
Fantastic Friday knives today Paul.
Hey, thank you Jeremy, sorry it took so long to replyTwo great looking knives for you Paul. What are the covers on your 92?

Happy for your family, Dan.Well I finally made it back home after spending the night in Redwood City about 20 miles south of the City at my son’s house looking after our grandson while his mom delivered his little sister. It’s like a tale of two climates. Hot and dry versus natures AC here. I’m happy to be back in the fog belt of the City. Keeping me company for the rest of the day will be the usual lamb and what has become a Sunday tradition the Modoc Special thanks to our Porch friend @Modoc ED.
