Different artisans, but both very fine examples of jigged bone. 👌
Thank you!

I hear ya. 2 kids, 2 dogs, and a bunch of cattle. I never had a chance 😁

Got it about 15 years ago. I saw an add for it on the bulletin board at the feed store outside of town. The guy had traded someone for it and wanted wanted some money and space for his next car project so he was getting rid of it. I had been wanting an old car for a while. It was mostly restored and for $4500 I couldn’t pass it up. It was before we had kids and I told my wife if we don’t get one before we have kids we probably never will and she agreed. Here’s a better picture of it.

It’s sweet, Bart! Thanks for the story.
That’s kind of how I got my 1955 Gibson J45. We had just gotten our bonus checks, and my co-worker and fellow guitar nut and I visited the Vintage room at one of the Guitar Centers.
Just good timing ~ we were relatively caught up in bills, and my loving wife agreed that if I didn’t buy it now, I might never get the chance.

I hand picked this Sodbuster at the Case factory store last week in Bradford, PA. The best Case knives are excellent, although you might have to go through a few to find the right ones! It is worth the effort. Go to your local dealer and enjoy coon fingering and chicken eyeing a few until the best ones pop to the surface. It’s a great way to spend one of these sweltering afternoons.

Case still owns the title for best jigging. I believe the same jigging set up has been in use for decades.
Glad you found a good one, Greg!
Sounds like fun.
Yes its probably easier just to carry a spoon with you but I like the idea and the execution.

It arrived yesterday so I have been trying it out eating my Lasagne while watching re runs of the original Van der Walk.

It doesn't get much more exciting than that. 😆

When you’re eating some factory made version of dinner, put it on a plate, throw away the plastic, and pretend you cooked it yourself!

A small change has taken place from last month's belt carry. Can you spot the difference? (aside from the order and composition.)

Neck Knife stays the same. However, I might get a different style from the same maker in a couple months, for a change of pace.

Can I get some info on the sharpening set, please? I need something that will sharpen a Case Texas Jack. Lansky system will not as the distance between spine and edge is too shallow.
Thanks
Hi,
This is a TSProf ko3. I bought optional filet clamps which allow me to do small blades. Angles can be from 13 to 35 °. I had a Kadet that worked almost the same.

Jack Adams thought enough of this Camillus to have his name nicely engraved in the blade.
Despite his best efforts, you still ended up with it ;) I do like those Cami TL-29's quite a bit, will pick one up sometime. Are the pins steel or brass? The Garlic looks good, reminds me it's time to solarize my patch before I turn and plant.
I lost the quote but I was going to raz you about your trash can before Ed does. You need to patch those bullet holes and respray your Seafoam. Gotta keep up with the Joneses. Maybe if you spruced up the end of the drive Bart *would* decide to drive that sweet Seafoam machine over?

The onions are gypsy onions, walking onions, top onions, probably a lot of other names. These came from an older Gypsy who used to stay across the street part of the year. She said her family brought them over when they migrated, they have some serious miles on them. You can just toss a couple anywhere and come back in a year, there will be a patch going. I prefer them as green onions but they can good for cooking too if you're wanting smaller, spicier onion bulbs.

Three grandkids here for the day. 4,6 and 7 years. My wife says it keeps me young. I say I need to check my blood pressure!
Peanut in the pocket to go see the snake man at the local library. You got me. I just do what I'm told! :D
