What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Another rip roaring day. 😁

It started of by my going to a different hospital today with beautiful green spaces and a tranquil atmosphere as you can see in the first photos.

The only problem was it was the "wrong" hospital,I was supposed to be at another hospital 5 minutes away.😅

This one was literally falling apart, lifts and toilets not working doors hanging of the hinges, filthy in places.

Hectic parking with warning signs of big fines if you got it wrong, still as usual the NHS staff where friendly.

The old lady's are the back bone of Old England, they run a good volunteer café and sell things like the tea cosys/baby clothes which they knit themselves.

I bought the least fancy one I could find, its actually a very good design and kind of expands with side panels to fit different size pots.

The White Stripes played at The Cape of Good Hope pub before they where famous, sadly I didnt know the group then or about the gig so didnt go.

I had a Coffee in a record store and bought my first Alice Cooper record S/H,records are not cheap nowadays.

The Sicilian deli is very good I bough a cannelloni (frozen for transportation to England),gorgonzola and pasta on the owners recommendation, all genuine products.

The map of the UK was from a Chinese run shop, I put it on the back of my door to use as a general reference for UK trips.

When I got home I made tea so I could try out my tea cosy,I found that it doubled as a bobble cap but I decline to show a photo in case you laugh.🤣🤣🤣

Great pics!

Long day🫤 Lost my bag of quotes. Had to restrain myself from buying a second 74, w/ burlap covers. I don't like restraint. Linen shorts again so went even lighter with the carry today. Stay cool ladies and gents!

Hospital again today,I took a short notice cancellation,I have to go back tommorow for something else.

Stopped for a coffee at my favourite coffee shop, not only the best coffee but cheaper than anyone else and service with a smile.

Another shopkeeper said he was jealous of my Barlow it turned out he was a collector.

Sun was out so I could sit outside.

That C.J. is a beauty, John. If I remember correctly, you were considering selling it. Glad to see you held on to it!
Good luck with your hand, sure hope you can get it fixed up.

Carrying this one the last couple of weeks.

I feel about as old as these old bones after playing pickleball with my much younger daughter and son-in-law last night.

It's a bit sad to me that my older than me knives can still work hard with no problem and I can too ....... but later feel like I been run over by a truck. 🤣
Nice trio today !!!😍
