What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Another rip roaring day. 😁

It started of by my going to a different hospital today with beautiful green spaces and a tranquil atmosphere as you can see in the first photos.

The only problem was it was the "wrong" hospital,I was supposed to be at another hospital 5 minutes away.😅

This one was literally falling apart, lifts and toilets not working doors hanging of the hinges, filthy in places.

Hectic parking with warning signs of big fines if you got it wrong, still as usual the NHS staff where friendly.

The old lady's are the back bone of Old England, they run a good volunteer café and sell things like the tea cosys/baby clothes which they knit themselves.

I bought the least fancy one I could find, its actually a very good design and kind of expands with side panels to fit different size pots.

The White Stripes played at The Cape of Good Hope pub before they where famous, sadly I didnt know the group then or about the gig so didnt go.

I had a Coffee in a record store and bought my first Alice Cooper record S/H,records are not cheap nowadays.

The Sicilian deli is very good I bough a cannelloni (frozen for transportation to England),gorgonzola and pasta on the owners recommendation, all genuine products.

The map of the UK was from a Chinese run shop, I put it on the back of my door to use as a general reference for UK trips.

When I got home I made tea so I could try out my tea cosy,I found that it doubled as a bobble cap but I decline to show a photo in case you laugh.🤣🤣🤣

Nice pics, Johnny. Your lambs foot Barlow is a beauty, very nice color and character in the bone. The blade and bolster stamps add even more to the overall look.

Busy today digging out for a sand & gravel foundation for a burn pit and have these 2 old TEWs in my pockets . Sheepfoot & Pen and Ain't Broke .

Notice I didnt buy any of those £1 Rubik cubes,I couldnt get anywhere with them, they drove me crazy.
LOL! :D I went out with my mate the other afternoon, and he had his youngest lad and his best mate with him. My pal got out of the car to buy a couple of takeaway coffees, and I was chatting to the lads. They handed me some recent Rubik's type thing, for me to have a go. I was glad when they took it away a few minutes later  :D
Haven’t carried this Copperhead for a long time.

Thank you very much, Jack!!! It's a very nice pattern and brings back my great memories of The Alps. :)

Lovely pairing of a couple of very classy cutters; I always love to see the cool blade stamp on your French beauty! Is a trip to SW Asia in your future?😲;):thumbsup:
Thank you very much my friend, I think I'm going to leave that kind of stuff in the past, I'm far to old for it now! :D

Johnnythefox Johnnythefox Try visiting Knole Park in Kent, a motorbike or car's ride from you. In the last century I saw a lot of spotted Fallow Deer there up close - you have to be careful in rutting season, also Green Woodpeckers are visible. Don't know what type of knife would be allowed in there these days though... o_O but it should be Stag handled! Also there are likely steep entrance fees but it's a beautiful spot.

15 on breakfast preparation duty,I love its simplicity and relative ease of opening, its light to.

I am also loving my new tea cosy it noticeably keeps the tea warmer (you can feel the heat in the wool) which is essential for a good brew.

Forecast here was for sun,it’s raining again in England there’s a surprise. 😁
