Yes they are difficult to get. But some of the knives that GEC has made stack up with the best ever produced by anybody, period. Quite worth the irritation, because I don’t think this will last forever. No other company comes remotely close. Heck, there are custom makers who cannot make a knife as well.

Internets been out all morning and early afternoon. Took the time away from the computer to cut out some sage brush along the front driveway. Was extra careful to check each one for rattlesnakes. Other than laying out in the open in the sun, there's nothing else they like more than entwining themselves in the base of sage brush. Carried this Bull Nose. It comes in handy for small straggler branches.

Hadn't thought of Micarta Monday when I picked it out. Only picked it out because it's a good work knife.

Stay safe. Not sure what rattlesnakes you have but I grew up with eastern diamondbacks and they were sneaky

I started the day with my GEC 33 but had peanuts on my mind. This evening I gave it a fresh edge and dropped it my pocket. I’m a guy who has typically stuck to the same folder for many months to a year+ but lately I’ve been fickle. On the bright side, it makes me a less boring participate in this thread. image.jpg

Wow, that’s an amazing pair. 👍
1970 Case Whittler and one of my Ettricks for Monday. 😊

That reminds me I need to carry my ettrick more. Such a cool pattern.

Cool mini copperhead, Gary. Seems like a neat little knife that people here don’t carry often. I like the red shield.
