Decisions decisions. Good problem to have :)

LOL 🤣

Yeah, too many (IMHO). Made an initial thought on what stays and what goes earlier this year. Been revisiting the list every month. There's a core group of knives emerging, a few others shift back and forth. At some point clarity will hit and I'll make a final decision.

(edit - not laughing at your post, laughing because I agree and I have too many decisions...)

Very kind words Jeff. Just some oil and a coat of wax will be applied. This lineman has steel liners.

Jeff, your displays are an education and a " candy store " for my eyes.
Nice ofbyou to say, Bob! Steel liners narrows down it’s age, eh?😎
Nice knives. What variety of garlic did you raise? I like Romanian Red Garlic. Have grown it for years.
Thanks!
It’s been awhile since I bought the seed garlic. I think I bought two varieties, Red Chesnok, and a white one, maybe Music. Both are hardneck.

Gordon, I believe many of us face decisions like yours. One can only admire and carry so many knives.😉

Ayup. For me, I've passed the analysis paralysis point. And with three Teardrops arriving (hopefully) this week, I can be paralyzed a bit more when I re-adjust my "keepers" list. 🤣

My goal is a small set of holiday/ special occasion traditional knives, a few modern knives with some strong memories attached, a couple one-handed moderns and multi-tools, my most-used and carried SAKs, two to four small or medium fixed blades, and my most-liked traditional patterns. Much less than the current horde, still way more than I need, still plenty to admire, and easy to set a carry schedule so everything gets carried and used.

🥰 I wish you luck Gordon. My task is to send my modern knives on to a better place.
Following that, I can get back to my old/ new slipjoint carry routine.

The Gentleman from Sheffield, Mr. Jack Black Jack Black , will justifiably compliment most pairings that include a Lambsfoot. For good reason.
I shall drink your good health kind sir :)

Those two look good together Steve :)

I'm busy here at Grumble Towers, the ferrets need to be scrubbed, the whippets smartened up, me best clogs polished, and my flat-cap ironed. For tomorrow is Yorkshire Day !
