Thank you, smoked oak. It's Otter Messer's user material, I like how it looks though.Great pattern, Great maker, and gorgeous wood.
Is it Rosewood?
Been there! Someday that will be a good memory. Maybe?Well...I guess I'll start to carry this one today as a regular user.

The joys of raising boys.
My youngest one found this on my dresser and decided he was going to use it at work. Not quite 16 and training to be a plumber. Part of his training will be taking care of his tools.
I'm not really complaining. All three carry knives.
Indeed! It's always nice to walk out of the hospital.

Thanks! The mug is sturdier than the picture shows, and it holds quite a lot of liquid, too.Joshua, glad you are giving those beauties some pocket time.
Great mug, but I know I would knock that one over.
They are great! It helps that the guys who put them together have excellent taste! Your #15 is looking sweet today, by the way.Wow, you really hit the cover jackpot with each of those! Glad to see the patina!

Great working knives !
Necessity is the mother of invention...as we yanks say.Bit of low key gardening and stuff today.
Ukrainian knife to hand and my "its a thing" Sharpie Pioneer X.
A pin fell out of my new cheapo secateurs in the long grass.
So I used long forgotten skills from school metalwork to cut a nail down and turn it into a rivet using the ball end of my hammer.
Seeing how much my hand hurts/restricts me I was very please with the result.
OK its not Space Science (which US President said that about the space shuttle?) but its good to make do and mend
I also sharpened my Dutch Hoe (no I wasn't in Amsterdam) with a puck to scrape weeds of my drive way.
Yes it was a thrilling day make no mistake about that...
You flash Harrys with your fancy HJs get a load of this awl...
