What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Good Thursday to you. This morning I’m enjoying my coffee out back with my cat and the usual critters. We have some fruit trees and the orioles have shown up. We have a pair of swallows who have taken up residence in an old conduit pipe. I have never seen the swallows eating bird seed and that’s because they mainly eat insects.

Otter 841 is still on the loose and hanging ten. I’m still enjoying my Cattle Punch. Here’s the pile side.

Very nice! I have quite a few Saddleback products (many from before they raised the prices to market value) and they are the nicest leather products I’ve owned.

The weatherman says we might get dry lightning strikes this afternoon. Not good. Serious potential for starting fires. We're headed to town in a couple of hours for the usual - picking up prescriptions, lunch at either the Wagon Wheel Cafe or the Brass Rail and groceries at the Holiday Market. I've been carrying a Bull Nose for the last few days so, I'll continue with this OD Green Canvas Bull Nose. This'll qualify for Thrifty Thursday too as it only cost about 50 bucks at time of purchase when they were released back in 2013.

Nothing can go faster than the speed of light ... the vast space (nothing) in between galaxies is expanding between distant galaxies faster than the speed of light. Distant galaxies will become invisible as they move away faster than their light can travel towards us. Dimmer and dimmer until they go out. Imagine you are walking on a sidewalk that is growing longer faster than you can walk. Your destination gets further away.

Thanks to everyone for showing their nice pics, sorry if I don't get the chance to look at them all. So hot here, and dry, for too many consecutive days. Dug this beauty out, one of my favs, hoping for some nice white bone company.
